Schumacher Eclipse 6 Steel Chassis Upgrade Set

Reigning 1:12 World Champion manufacturer Schumacher has released this Steel Chassis Upgrade Set for its Eclipse 6.  It was developed to deliver smooth, predictable handling and improved drivability, particularly in the high-grip conditions commonly found in LMP12 racing.  The specially developed 1.1mm spring steel chassis combines an ultra-low centre of gravity with a chassis width reduced by 11.5mm.  Its reduced thickness lowers all chassis-mounted components by 0.9mm, helping to improve overall balance and handling.  Weighing 91.2 grams, 7 grams heavier than the standard 2mm alloy chassis, the steel chassis has been engineered to provide fast yet easy-to-drive characteristics, with increased mid-corner rotation, a smoother feel and a wider setup window.  The set includes the steel chassis, carbon fibre topdecks, side links and specially designed mounting hardware.  The mounting screws require a Torx T7 driver with the Takashima T7 driver and handle available separately. The upgrade set is also compatible with the Schumacher Eclipse 5.
