Senesi Motorsport 1:8 GT Sweep Tyre Roller

Senesi Motorsport, the brand of 2024 EFRA 1:8 GT European Champion Natanaele Senesi, has released this 1:8 GT Sweep Tyre Roller.  Having just been announced as the Italian distributor for the Korean manufacturer’s Sweep tyre range, Senesi Motorsport designed this tool to work with Sweep’s very popular 1:8 GT tyres, since the diameter of the roller matches perfectly the inside diameter of the Sweep.  Used to prepare and condition the tyres for maximum performance on the track, by applying consistent pressure, the roller smooths and flattens the tyre surface, ensuring a more even grip and reducing irregularities.  This process enhances handling and tyre life making it a must-have for serious competitors.  When using new tyres, excess tire glue can sometimes form uneven spots, affecting the tyre’s overall performance and by rolling them with the tyre roller you can “break” the glue and ensure a uniform tyre surface.  The Tyre Roller also comes with a handy carbon-fibre stick that can be inserted into the roller to make this whole process easier.

ZooRacing Hyena 1:10 LMH TC | Zerda 1:12 GT Bodies

German body shell producer ZooRacing kicks of the 2026 season with two new releases, the Hyena 1:10 LHM Touring Car body and its first entry into the 1:12 GT category with the Zerda 1:12 GT Pan car body.  The Hyena is the second hypercar body designed for the next generation of touring car racing.  The difference between the popular Hyrax and the Hyena is the focus on more steering, more agile cornering, by also less low design of the body and cap to fit a bit older chassis.  The longer front and larger front splitter allow more downforce and the higher, but shorter rear end gives the Hyena a better rotation on all types of tracks.  Key aerodynamic features include an optimised front end with the aggressive front splitter and sculpted fenders minimising turbulence and generate high front-end grip.  A sleek, realistic cockpit area reduces air resistance while maintaining high-speed stability while precision-formed side channels guide air around the body to reduce drag and improve rear-end balance.  The integrated rear diffuser and large rear wing provide maximum traction while keeping air turbulence under control.

Harper wins at EWS R3 as two Champions crowned early

Round 3 of the Essex Winter Series took place yesterday at the popular British series’ regular venue in the South-East of the UK where  a win for Schumacher’s Elliot Harper keeps the championship wide open while Zak Finlay and Dan Blake secured titles.  Harper secured pole position in the LRP Modified class, but he had a tight battle with Kyle Branson throughout.  Branson, who took the win at Round 1 of the series in October, topped the opening round with his Awesomatix, before Harper took control to win the remaining rounds.  The winner at Round 2 of the series, Alex Thurston, lined up third with his Mugen Seiki, ahead of Xray’s Harley Eldridge and the Schumacher of Peter Eagles.  In the final, Elliott remained in control and quickly opened up a lead at the front ahead of Branson.  The battle on track was for third, with Harley continually closing in on Alex.  After keeping the pressure on, Eldridge finally found a way past Thurston in the final minute of the race to move to a podium position.  Almost at the same moment, Branson tapped a corner, damaging his car.  He held on to second place, but Eldridge quickly closed in.  Branson did all he could to keep Eldridge behind, but with a damaged car it proved difficult, leading to Eldridge making an excellent high-speed pass through the infield section on the penultimate lap to add to Branson’s injury, Thurston then also managed to sneak through on the final lap to secure a podium result.  All this action left Harper to cruise to victory at the front.  This keeps the overall championship wide open, with Harper, Thurston and Branson each having a win with two rounds of the series left to run.
