Infinity IF14 Speciale PSD Shock Body

Infinity has released these Progressive Shock Damping (PSD) Shock Bodies for its IF14 Speciale 1:10 Electric Touring Car. The precision-machined shock body features internal oil bypass grooves for progressive shock damping. When the piston is at the bottom of the shock body, damping is softer. As the piston moves toward the top, damping progressively increases. This provides soft damping during the initial stage of body roll, with progressively firmer damping as the roll increases. Compatible with standard shock pistons by using the blank pistons a wide range of custom damping setups can also be achieved. Used on the front they help control excessive front-end load, increase cornering speed, and reduce traction roll on high-grip surfaces. On the rear they improves stability through corners and increases traction on corner exit. Along with the PSD Shock Body, Infinity has also released Blank (Undrilled) Pistons to allow customise your shock setup by drilling your preferred number of holes (e.g., 2 or 6) and hole diameters using a pin vice or similar tool. Eight pre-marked pilot points are provided to guide hole placement, allowing you to drill holes easily and accurately.
