Kyosho Mini-Z MotoRacer bike

Kyosho have released details of their soon to be released Mini-Z MC-01 MotoRacer bike. The 1/18 scale bike features gyro stabilisation, digital steering servo, 7000kv coreless brushless motor, full ball raced drivetrain, high-grip racing slick tyres and a Yamaha YZR-M1 body work. Included in the set are a KT-19 2.4GHz radio system, 3.7V 120mAh battery, charger, USB charing harness for charging via an existing computer and other parts such as a bike stand and tools. Gyro and the fork’s camber are adjustable to set the bike’s characteristics up to your liking. All that is needed to get the RTR MotoGP bike running are four AAA-size cells for the transmitter and an optional charger if needed. View more images here.

TQ Racing SX10 2w sneak peek

TQ Racing have shown a sneak peek of their new SX10 2w 1/10th scale 2wd buggy. Manufactured by Academy Model Company, the new platform requires some final new parts before being finalized but they claim to be really close to releasing their new car.

Revolution Design Racing Products

Revolution Design Racing Products is a new brand founded by Ruddog Distribution owner Sven Rudig and former Robitronic, Serpent and Team Durango designer Michael Vollmer. Both are passionate RC-car racers and have together decided to release the new RC-Car accessories brand RDRP. The company is run by Sven Rudig who also owns Vampire Racing and newly founded Pulse RC. Revolution Design Racing Products are unlike other aftermarket companies and focus on self-designed accessories, components and tools never seen in this form or function before to make setting or maintaining RC-Cars not only easier but also a lot more fun. IFMAR 200mm Worlds Warmup announcement

Having had their previously scheduled World Warmup cancelled due to flooding, the organisers of the 2012 IFMAR 1/10th 200mm World Championships to be held at RC Addict in Bangkok Thailand, have given the final date for the warmup. Set to take place from the 23rd to 29th of January next year, and with the track not going to be resurfaced before the main event, it will give racers the best opportunity to run on the track in similar conditions to those at the actual event which will be held later that year in November. A Main Hobbies’ brand ProTek R/C have announced four new LiPo battery packs that boast an incredible 70C discharge rating. These ROAR Approved packs are available as 2S 6400mAh, 2S Shorty 4100mAh, 4S 6400mAh and 1S 5800mAh versions all with hard cases. ProTek RC offers a 50% Damage Replacement program for one year after original purchase date on all batteries that have been damaged due to impact, over-discharging, or improper charging that have not been modified or disassembled. The damaged battery will be replaced by a comparable battery at 50% off of its retail cost.

Meyir Azulay wins Israeli League Rd3

This past weekend saw the 3rd round of the Israeli League for nitro 1/8 scale buggies held at Top-Drive racing club near Tel Aviv. Yaniv Sivan TQ’d the field with his Kyosho MP9 WC, however a problem with his car caused him to lose the lead and a few places. Race day was full of failures to everyone which caused strong drivers to find themselves in the B final. Some say that the B final was more challenging then the A due to a close race between Yaniv Sivan (TQ) and young talented driver Or Levy that did not give up and despite the close battle won the heat. In the A main it was Meyir Azulay that took the win with his Xray ahead of the Mugen pairing of Itai Atedgi and Dan Pric in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Team Titan Blitz Mini GTI

Team Titan have released their new Blitz Mini GTI, new M-Class Sedan body with 225mm wheelbase. Designed to fit most 1/10 Mini cars with the same wheelbase, it comes supplied with an optional wing which can be used to create more downforce for faster cornering. Tested on standard Mini cars and FF type Mini cars such as the Tamiya M-05M with great stability and handling. Available in 1.0mm and 0.8mm light versions with optional wing and high quality decal / window masks included.
