JConcepts Slash/Stampede 4×4 suspension conversion

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 and Stampede 4×4 is a suspension conversion kit. The upgrade includes carbon fibre front and rear shock towers, aluminium shock stand-offs, body mount adaptors and aluminium caster blocks. Using this combination of parts along with other optional parts allows to convert the stock trucks into high performance vehicles. The 4mm long-stroke front shock tower has been designed to use a longer Traxxas shock for better shock geometry in rugged conditions. The carbon material improves response of the suspension and provides a stable setting for the included aluminium body mount adaptor. The rear tower, also in 4mm material, utilises the stock geometry but with the addition of carbon fibre and precise machining, tightens up the feel of the rear suspension. The included aluminium shock stand-offs position the shocks at an advantageous angle and allows the shocks to work as designed.

RDRP XB2 brass RF & RR suspension mounts

Coming from Revolution Design Racing Products are the new brass RF and RR suspension mounts for the Xray XB2 series of cars. They are a direct replacement for the kit’s lightweight parts and add valuable weight especially when running in low-traction conditions or when the track is getting bumpier. Machined from black-coated brass and sporting gold-colour chamfered edges the parts weigh in at 12g (RF) and 15g (RR) which shifts the weight bias further back for improved traction and a more planted ride when running on bumpy tracks. The RF and RR suspension mounts fit all XB2 series cars and trucks except for the XB2D’17, they are available separately and can be used together or in a mix with the standard mounts to achieve the desired weight bias and driving feel.
