EX Lab T4’15 floating steering servo holder

EX Lab T4'15 floating steering servo holder

EX Lab has released a first rendering of what appears to be a floating steering and servo holder for the Xray T4. Making use of a redesigned upper servo holder plate that takes the steering bellcrank posts the part removes the steering assembly from the lower chassis plate to minimise the influence of the twisting chassis on the steering angle during hard cornering. The chassis will also flex more with the steering posts removed from the lower plate which can be beneficial in certain conditions while an additional post allows to connect the servo holder plate with the top deck in case a stiffer front end is required. The set, that from what is understood is designed to work with the T4’s standard inner and out aluminium servo mounts, will become available in mid-March.

Muchmore warming LiPo safety bag

Muchmore warming LiPo safety bag

New from Muchmore comes a LiPo safety bag with built-in heating system to maintain a certain battery temperature while charging in cold ambient temperatures. Keeping the inside at a constant 30 degree Celsius the bag helps to raise the battery’s performance which can be helpful especially when racing stock classes. The heating system works in a voltage range of 7.4V to 13.8V and it is housed in a proper, fire-resistant safety bag. While a safety bag for charging and discharging duties is mandatory at many tracks you may need to check if the track’s or race series’ rules allow the battery heating devices.

Schelle Racing Innovations B5 aluminium rear hubs

Schelle Racing Innovations B5 aluminium rear hubs

Schelle introduce a new 2-piece hub concept for the Team Associated B5 and T5 platform. The 2-piece design with a replaceable upper cab increases adjustment and durability as the upper part can be spaced away from the main hub with ballstud shims, allowing fine “in-between” adjustments for the rear upper link. True to the kit geometry, the zero degree toe aluminium hubs are of a symmetric design with shared parts left and right. Plastic bearing inserts and hinge pin set screws make for the highest possible precision and slop-free parts fitment. The upper cap design reduces leverage on the outer ballstud, as well as increasing shock clearance for the turnbuckle. The hubs come in black or blue anodising and are available now.
