Marka Racing T4/T3 & CSO One outdrives & fan mount

Marka Racing have a bunch of new option parts for Xray’s T4 and T3 platform as well as the CSO One available. First up are axle driveshaft adapters made from 7075-T6 Ergal material. Designed for the use with blade driveshafts the parts offer a lower weight compared to the stock adapters and they are available in orange and black anodising. The parts are compatible with Xray T4/T3 and CSO One V2/V3 cars and also fit Team C as well as Spec-R kits.

John Watkins wins at Victorian indoor off-road titles

The first ever Victorian indoor off-road carpet state titles where hosted by Melbourne’s newest racing facility, Adrenalin Arena. The weekend started on Saturday with an all-practice day and resumed on Sunday with the finals. In the mains John Watkins, coming from 3rd on the grid, took the win in the opening A-main as TQ Simon Mc Hugh rolled after a tricky jump landing. The 2nd A-main had the leaders coming together in the second lap which again made way for John who was able to cruise to the win in order to take the 2WD class state title.

NVision Factory Pro 5800 square LiPo battery pack

NVision is the latest brand to introduce a square-type 2S LiPo battery pack. Build from high performance cells that are capable of 100C burst rates, the pack is ideal for all high-power applications. The special design mimics the dimensions of a side-by-side saddle pack battery but the single case does away with the need to use a jumper wire for charging and during use. The hardcase pack is equipped with a single 2mm connector tube for the balancer harness and dual 4mm tubes for the power wires and it is available now.

Trinity introduce the D4 brushless motor

Following much speculation about the follow-up motor of the successful D3.5, Trinity now officially introduce the D4 electric brushless motor. Designed to meet all ROAR specifications the motor is based around a new stator design and a 3-piece heatsink can with an updated endbell for improved bearing alignment and increased airflow for lower operating temperatures. Other features include windings made from certified pure copper wire, grade 5 ball bearings, and new larger silver-plated solder tabs. The motor is 8 grams lighter than the previous D3.5 and available as 2.5T to 9.5T modified and 13.5T and 17.5T ROAR Spec stock motors. The motors should hit stores by the time you read this.

Maxi Vogl successful at South German regionals

The 2nd round of the South German nitro on-road regionals was held at the MCC Hof track in the North of Bavaria. The 30 minute 1/8th class final saw Torsten Müller in the lead for about 10 minutes until he ran into trouble with some backmarkers which had him drop to 3rd. Maxi Vogl and Oliver Lembeck took advantage of this situation to end the race in 1st and 2nd position respectively. High front tyre wear prevented Torsten from challenging the top 2 drivers so he settled for 3rd in front of Christian Schmidkonz and Maverik Reisinger.

Tödtmann & Römer win at West Germany regionals

Tödtmann & Römer win at Western Germany regionals

Round three of the Western Germany nitro on-road regionals was held at the famous MRC Oberhausen track. 51 racers from 5 different countries made their entry for the event on a track that is known for its very high grip surface because it is mainly used by large-scale cars. With no direct qualifiers all of the top drivers had to run the 20 minute semifinals with Thilo Tödtmann being the fastest, taking the pole position for the finals.

International Romanian Nitro Cup – Date change

As the summer nitro season is in full swing, the organisers of the International Romanian Nitro Cup wanted to notify everyone that the date has been changed for the annual event to fit within the many national events being run throughout Europe. The new date for the IRNC will be September 19th to 21th. The race will be held at the beautiful Hobby Arena track near Bucharest in 1/8th and 1/10th 200mm in-road classes with the chance to win some big money for those making the A final. Wicaksono wins at Jakarta regional buggy champs

The 3rd round of the Jakarta Regional Buggy Championship was held at the Graha Raya track in Serpong, West Java. A total of 33 drivers attended the event that saw Adrian Wicaksono taking TQ. At the end of the 45 minute final Adrian maintained the lead and came in 1st followed by John Agus and Jason Nugroho. Faisal Ali and Darmadi Kurniawan completed the top 5 result.
