VBC touring car & F1 options

VBC touring car & F1 options

VBC Racing introduce two new option parts for the Wildfire and FF Twelve touring cars as well as the Flash04 formula chassis in the form of hardened lightweight spool outdrives and aluminium spring retainers. Starting with the outdrives, they are designed for the aluminium spool body, come with a hardened surface and are machined to reduce weight and thus rotation mass for a quicker spool up and better acceleration. Also new are aluminium spring retainers for the shocks of the Wildfire, FF Twelve and Flash04 cars. The large diameter securely holds the spring while the grey anodised finish matches the remainder of the car’s parts.

Exotek F104v2 flex chassis & options

Exotek F104v2 flex chassis & options

Exotek Racing introduce three new option parts for Tamyia’s F104v2 formula chassis in the form of a flex chassis, TRF shock mount and adjustable arm mount plates. Starting with the chassis set, the slightly thinner plate is designed to increase the overall grip both front and rear and helps to reduce traction roll tendencies making it ideal for rubber tire classes. The chassis also updates the side links to an angled geometry to increase rear pod traction and to reduce link binding when the rear pod is articulated. The plate retains the stock location holes for added tuning. Added to the chassis is a 3rd position battery stop location allow a small ESC to be mounted in back, a shorty pack in the middle and the receiver at the front which is ideal for asphalt racing. Included in the set is a new design 2.5mm thick rear pod plate. The plate adds 2 slots for better side link performance. The set includes a 1mm front wing spacer for added wing clearance. The second new part is the lightweight carbon fiber TRF shock mount plate for the v2 chassis. The part allows hassle free mounting of the damper for perfect rear pod droop and perfect centered ball end position and offers two mounting positions for the small F104v2 and the optional TRF damper. Last but not least comes the carbon fiber inner mount plate for the Exotek adjustable arm set. It replaces the heavier Tamiya alloy mount and scrubs 6g of weight.
