Yannic Prümper teams up with Power HD

Power HD have announced the signing of German frontrunner, Yannic Prümper to their factory team. The three-times ETS winner and multi-times podium finisher also scored exceptional results at European and World Championships and he will be using Power HD’s super speed HV brushless low profile servo Storm-7 at upcoming race events such as the ETS, EOS, the World Championships and other major races. Yannic says:

I‘m happy to have the opportunity to be part of the Power HD factory team. In the future, I‘ll represent the high quality Power HD servos on national and international races, on-road and off-road category. Radtec X1 aluminium front body post mount

Coming from Radtec and made for the Xray X1 formula car is an aluminium front body post mount in a two-tone finish. The aluminium plate is machined from high-quality material and features a black and orange finish and allows to swap between different front wing brands without having to change the front body mount position as the post is being attached to the mount and not to the front wing. Included comes suitable mounting hardware.

Tom Robin wins French Nitro Buggy opener

The opening round of the French 1/8th Nitro Buggy Championship took place this past weekend at the dirt track in Cogolin. Team Associated’s Tom Robin would take the win in the main final with his RC Concept-propelled buggy from Yannick Aigoin (Xray/Ultimate) 2nd and TLR/RC Concept’s Renaud Savoya 3rd. Thomas Musso (HB Racing/Team Orion) came in 4th from Kyosho/Reds Racing pilot Rayan Medjoubi 5th.

Kyle McBride takes 8th Australian Nats title

The 2018 Australian 1/8th Off-road Titles were held this past weekend and it was Kyle McBride who secured himself an 8th National Championship title. The TQ holder would take the win in the hour-long Nitro Buggy A-main some 22 seconds in front of Aaron Stringer while Mitchell Steer completed the podium two laps down. Over in the Truggy class it was again Kyle with the TQ and win, leaving behind Mitchell Steer and Craig Laughton in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Xray T4 -0.5mm suspension mounts

Xray have introduced new lowered RF and RR suspension mounts for the T4 series of touring cars. Available as split RF hangers, that also support the ARS system, and as single-piece RR mount, the parts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they make for a 0.5mm lower suspension pin position. The new roll centre setting will create more side-bite in low to medium bite conditions such as “green” asphalt. The all mounts are available separately.

Stafford & Hunt win X-Factory UK Winter Series

The final round of the X-Factory UK Winter Series was held this past weekend and it was Ellis Stafford and Kevin Hunt who sealed the overall championship in the 2WD and 4WD class respectively. Ellis steered the new Carisma Racing 2WD prototype to the overall title with TLR’s Kevin Hunt and Team Associated’s Joe Renton rounding out the 2WD podium. Over in 4WD it was Ashley Wiffen and Darren Boyle who completed a Carisma Racing podium sweep.

PSM Evo7 carbon fibre shock towers

Coming from PSM and made for the Tamiya Evo7 touring car are front and rear carbon fibre shock towers. Both are cut from 4mm carbon composite material and designed to reinforce the vehicle’s shock area, providing minimum flex characteristics and straight shock alignment for a more linear performance under all conditions. The shock towers are a direct fit and they are available separately for the front and the rear of the car.

Bowie Ginting sweeps East Touring Series Rd1

The opening round of the East Touring Series was held at East RC Speedway, east Jakarta this past weekend. The 3-race series is supporting the primary Open Brushless 13.5 class and the top 2 drivers of the overall standings will receive a free trip to Thailand’s 2018 BIRC race in Bangkok. Racing-wise it was Bowie Ginting who secured the pole, almost two seconds ahead of Arya Seta while Peter Anthonijsz lined up in 3rd. The opening two mains were won by Bowie for an early overall victory while the race for the remaining two podium spots was on between several drivers as Christian Mamesah and Teddy Syach, who lined up 4th and 5th respectively, joined the podium battle. In the end, Syach took 2nd and Mamesah snatched the 3rd spot.
