1up Racing Pro Duty Titanium Body Limiter Screws

New from 1up Racing are these Pro Duty Titanium Body Limiter Screws for touring car use.  The smooth ball head prevents scratching your livery and its minimal design saves as much weight as possible at the highest point in your car, critical for keeping the CG low.  The Body Limiter Screws install into the upper arms of your touring car to keep the body from touching the tires.   Not only saving weight over kit steel screws, but their original ball head design has minimal contact with the body, keeping it looking fresh and moving freely.  The unique design features flat sides and can easily be adjusted using a turnbuckle wrench, or by sticking a 1.5mm wrench through the hole. Made from 6AL4V Titanium the Pro Duty Titanium Body Limiter Screws are available in four sizes- M2, M2.5 and M3 Short and Long variants.

1up Cup Series Round 2 – Report

Round 2 of the 2025 1up Cup Series was held at BWS Raceway in Perris, California, a unique, high-grip covered asphalt track on the grounds of world-famous “The Dirt” nitro offroad track.  In the premiere Mod TC class, Round 1 Winner Jacob Cruz (Mugen) ran into some bad luck in both Q1 and Q2, relegating him to the B-Main. Serpent’s Bryce Butterfield took advantage to grab the TQ Spot, which he converted into the overall win after some great battles with Ryan Cavalieri (1up) and Lex Tyler (Awesomatix).  Spec Touring Car was the Lex Tyler (Awesomatix) show all weekend long.  He dominated all rounds of qualifying and swept the mains ahead of the Schumacher’s of Erik Steenhoven and Charlie Albrecht.  In USGT, Oliver Clipper made some sweet passes to take the overall win over Ken Gerberding (ARC) and Carlos Duarte (Tamiya).  FWD saw Gary Tsai (Xray) take a popular win at his home track, ahead of Joey Abbica (Frankencar) and Ken Gerberding (ARC).  F1 was an entertaining display by Mike Rydwell (Exotek, duh), who missed most of qualifying but put on a driving clinic from the back of the pack to take the overall win. Kevin “Panda” Cole (Roche) and Round 1 winner Dave Constant (Exotex rounded out the podium.  Nick “Candyman” Pantana took the win in with his Awesomatix ride in VTA ahead of Chris Krein (Yokomo) and Peter Carris (ARC).  The “Candyman” doubled up with a 2nd win in SuperGT (Tamiya Tub Chassis Only), with 3 different winners in 3 mains! Jonah Gallant and Jose Navarro took 2nd and 3rd.  Round 3 of the 1up Cup Series rolls off May 16-18 at CenCal Speedway in Fresno, CA

1up Racing 1:10 Buggy Foam Pro Cutting Jig

New from 1up Racing is this Foam Pro Cutting Jig for 1:10 Buggy.  A first of its kind, the Foam Pro offers racers a precise and efficient tool for cutting open cell rear buggy foams with 2mm increment adjustments from 28-38mm.  Cutting buggy rear foam inserts is an underrated but powerful tuning option for carpet buggy racing.  Not only does it eliminate inconsistency in foam widths out of the package, it also ensures a truer, more balanced fit inside the tire.  An overpacked or unbalanced foam can create an erratic, hard to drive handling feel for your buggy.  1up Racing Factory drivers suggest cutting the foam to the exact width of your tread pattern for a more forgiving, easier-to-drive feel that also promotes more even wear across the tire.  The Foam Pro is 3D printed in the USA by 1up Racing’s partners at Vargr Industries using high-quality filament for a sturdy yet lightweight build in your pit box.
