AKA backpack & cinch sacks

AKA have new carrying bags available in the form of a backpack and two different size cinch sacks. Starting with the backpack, it will get you to the track, school, or travel destination and it is constructed of durable, water-resistant nylon that is meticulously crafted with three main compartments and 16 auxiliary pockets. The rear compartment features a padded laptop sleeve while the large centre compartment can easily fit an 1/8th scale buggy. A Medium cinch sack is included with the backpack that is perfect to carry tyres, 1/10th buggies, or 1/8th buggies in the backpack without getting it covered in dirt. The exterior of the backpack is topped off with embroidered logos on the front pocket and padded strap.

AKA Double Play 7mm & 5.5mm nut driver

AKA’s Double Play nut driver creatively lightens the toolbox by putting a 7mm and 5.5mm wrench in one. The 7mm driver fits metric wheel nuts found on most popular 1/10th scale buggies and short course trucks, while the 5mm driver is common for shock nuts and most nuts on metric 1/8th scale cars. The machined aluminium handle and sleeve provides weight reduction over standard steel tools with the added durability of a hard-anodised finish. The tool become available by end of October.

AKA Chain Link Evo 1/10th buggy rear tyre

The Chain Link is the latest addition to the AKA’s 1/10 Evo line of buggy tyres. It features a bi-level, interlocking tread pattern that creates support for the tyre’s carcass and treads. This addition support leads to consistency through corners and provides on-throttle stability to give a good balance of forward drive and side bite which is ideal for hard packed or blue groove, indoor and outdoor tracks. Available in clay, super soft, and soft compound as tyres with red Evo inserts or pre -mounted pairs on Evo wheels.

AKA 17mm wheel nut wrench

Seen for the first time during the recent IFMAR 1/8th Buggy World Championships in Sicily and available now is AKA’s 17mm wheel wrench. The tool is made from machined and anodised aluminium for a durable and aesthetically pleasing look. The wrench has been optimised to fit all open and enclosed face wheel nuts and the over-sized handle features laser etched AKA logos and fits nicely into the palm of your hand, offering plenty of leverage to get those over-tightened nuts off in a breeze.

AKA rubber pit mat

Available now from AKA is this rubber pit mat that helps to protect your pit table while making it look clean and sharp at the same time. The mat measures in at around 120x60cm, it is made of durable 3mm PVC which is chemical and water resistant, easy to clean, and it features an AKA graphic in the bottom right hand corner.

AKA Roadblock SC tires

New from AKA, the Roadblock has been designed to get your short course truck through any surface from to dirt to asphalt. The dense, lugged tread pattern will give you long life to bash with plenty of grip, pack after pack. It comes in AKA’s proprietary Soft Compound and is available in pairs with Red inserts or pre-mounted on Cyclone wheels with fitment options to suit most short course trucks.

AKA Gridiron Evo & Impact SC tyres

AKA have two new 1/10th off-road tyres available in the form of the Gridiron Evo buggy and Impact short course tyre. Starting with the Gridiron Evo, the 2WD/4WD buggy rear tyre is designed to excel on low-traction hard-packed tracks and it comes in AKA’s soft and super soft compounds. Coming as pairs the Evo line tyre is available including a red colour insert or pre-glued on white or yellow Evo rims.

AKA 1/10 Evo tyre conversion kit

The 1/10 Evo conversion kit from AKA allows to use any of the 1/10 AKA Evo tyres on Hexlite or any standard wheel, including 14mm hex wheels. The lightweight foam strips add tune-ability as you can use them with red Evo inserts, or omit them and use a standard red insert.
