Following on from the teaser shot of the Raptor 18TC that Alien Power sent us a while back, the company has sent us photos and full information of their new car.Looking very much like a belt driven M18, the car sports a 1.8mm thick carbon fibre 6 cell chassis, a 2mm adjustable upper deck and of course has a centrally mounted motor that powers the front and rear belts. The advantage of this setup is that unlike shaft driven cars it wont suffer from torque steer. Full ball bearings throughout, front and rear ball differentials, composite drive shafts front and rear and touring car style wheel mounting system complete the features. Supplied fully factory build, it includes steering servo, tools, mounted foam tires and a pinion set.
German company Alien Power have sent us a teaser shot of their first entry into the car market, the Raptor 18TC. Very little is known about the new car, other than it will be a 4wd belt driven high end touring car platform and that it will be made mostly of carbon fibre, a sign of its racing intentions. More photos and details will be available in the near future.
