Avid EB410/ET410 titanium shock standoffs V2

Coming from Avid and made for the Tekno EB410 and ET410 kits are the new FastTune titanium shock stand offs. They are replacements for the new #TKR6527B standoff that use the keyed shock bushings #TKR6780. They include Avid’s FastTune feature which allows to use a common 1.5mm Allen wrench to prevent the standoff from spinning while using a 5.5mm socket wrench on the other side. The other solutions out there require to either take the shock completely off the standoff to reach the 7.0mm nut or to use a 7.0mm open-ended socket wrench. In addition to being easier to wrench on they help to lose some weight from the highest point on the car by switching from steel to titanium. The set includes four shock standoffs machined from billet 6Al-4V titanium.

Avid Aura Revolution ball bearings

Avid have introduced their new Aura Revolution line of oiled, tight tolerances steel ball bearings. Categorised as a budget-minded performance bearing and because it is oiled and has slightly higher tolerances than Avis’s greased Halo line, the bearing will perform almost as well as the compnany’s high-end Aura Ceramics but at more than half the cost. It is designed for the highly competitive racer that wants to have an edge but does so much racing that spending the money on the Aura Ceramic’s isn’t always practical. The bearing comes in Avid’s Revolution seal, which is a rubber seal on one side and metal on the other and they are made with Chromium Steel races because the surface finish is smoother than other materials such as Stainless Steel. This results in less noise and better performance. The bearings are now available in Avid’s famous FlexKit software, allowing to build customised packs for nearly every application.
