Avid CPD 1/10th buggy slipper pads

Coming from Avid are the CPD Consistent Power Delivery slipper pads for many of today’s electric off-road buggies. The slipper pads are of a new material designed with the focus of providing a larger tuning window while also being able to handle higher temps. This allows for less slipper fade during a run and drivers don’t have to adjust their buggy’s slipper setting nearly as often to maintain the same track feel. The pads are available for the standard Team Associated and Yokomo slippers and also for Avid’s own Triad Evo units.

Avid B6 flat front & long rear carbon fibre shock towers

Avid have introduced new front and rear carbon fibre shock towers for the Team Associated B6 series of buggies. Available are the “flat” front and “long” rear towers, both are made of 4.5mm carbon fibre material and Avid added material, pocketing, and bracing to the weak areas. The flat and long configurations are the most popular on dirt tracks and they require flat front A-arms and long 31mm shock bodies as the latter offer more volume and control in most conditions. The upper shock mount positions are in the same location as the stock geometry and the towers are available separately from now on.
