Avid have introduced this titanium ball stud kit for the Awesomatix A800. It includes 24 pieces to replace all the kit ball studs with titanium in order to minimise weight without sacrificing strength. This kit is designed to work with the kit ball cups.

Awesomatix have released a number of new option parts for their A12 as well as the A800MMX and A800FX. First up for the A12 is a -6mm wheelbase set, that provides a 6mm shorter wheelbase with AT1204 steering blocks and a 3mm shorter wheelbase with AT1204-ZT steering blocks. Each part is also available separately. Next up is a simple tuning option, a pair of C1.1 (Dark Brass) front springs. Next up for the Awesomatix double universal joints is this extra strong steel universal ring set, especially recommended for racing at tracks with hard boards. Provides reduced backlash with improved concentricity and precision as well as improved strength. For the A800FX is a new cap head screw, the length of which is optimal for the currently most popular FWD body shells. Finally for the MMX is the updated front bulkhead that features slightly modified end tips to further extend the clearance of the steering link at full lock under suspension up travel.
Some new items for the A800MMX from Awesomatix, the first of which is a new motor mount made from high grade 7075 T6 alloy. The new version features an increased slot for the ESC wire to allow an easier electronics installation and has the belt anti skip unit integrated. There is also the new 2.2mm carbon chassis that has are more narrow shape in the back for less chassis rub. Holes for the ‘short’ suspension arms have been removed as a result.

Awesomatix are very proud to announce the addition of Swedish RC ace and former World Champion David Ronnefalk to their Factory Team. David is well known all around the world for his amazing skills with a transmitter, not only in off road classes. He brings a lot of experience and great spirit with him to further extend the team lineup. They are looking forward to seeing him at the Euro Touring Series events as well as the World Championship. David had the following to say,
I have big things going on in my racing program for 2022 and beyond. My passion for RC in general is big and I’ve always liked to drive touring cars and now with my indoor facility I’ve had the chance to drive more onroad than ever before. It’s with lots of excitement I hereby announce that I will now be a part of the Awesomatix Factory Team. I’m looking forward to attend as many races possible including the World Championships. The ETS in December will be my first race with the car and I’ll be ready to battle.

Awesomatix have announced the addition of the multiple Italian national champion Gabriele Berselli to their factory team. He won the modified title in 2019 (ASI), 2020 (AMSCI) and 2021 (ACI) and will race at the ACI Italian championship as well as at the UISP champs and other important events in Italy and Europe. Gabry said ‘I want to thank Awesomatix for this great opportunity they have offered me, and I can’t wait to start this wonderful experience’.

Awesomatix have introduced this AM180EVO SB bellcrank for the A800MMX single bellcrank steering (SB1). This Evo version is equipped with the same bigger bearings as the M5 version to further increase the reliability. Furthermore the height of the AM180EVO is slightly adjusted to avoid contact with P12X at certain setups. With this change, less bumpsteer shims are needed on the steering arm, which reduces the stress on this part. To keep the same bumpsteer value as with AM180M5 use 1,25mm less bumpsteer shims.
The new Awesomatix A12 gear diff is specially designed for use in their A12 1/12th scale pan car. With the 1/4″ main shaft, this Gear Diff is also suitable for most other brand 1/12th scale pan car’s. This diff is suitable for standard TC and 1/12 spur gears of many brands while the overall weight is class leading at only 21 grams to ensure the best performance on track.
Awesomatix are happy to announce the addition of the Italian racer Andrea Ghilotti to their Factory Team. The former EFRA European junior champion will participate at the Euro Touring Series events and as well at events in his home country Italy. He had the following to say, ‘Since I was a child and I’ve seen the first Awesomatix car out there I loved this revolutionary project, now becoming directly part of it feels just like magic. It’s a pleasure for me to join the team, thanks to Max, Oleg and all Awesomatix guys for trusting in me, I hope I can get good results to keep our flag high. See you on track.’
