Axial SCX10 Pro Kit Crawler

Rock Crawling specialists Axial has announced details of its new 1:10 4WD SCX10 Pro Kit.  The SCX10 Pro delivers the highest level of performance the California based company has ever offered in a 1:10 scale rock crawler.   Not just for competition, the SCX10 Pro also offers the highest level of value for anyone building a pro-level crawler.  With all-new design axles, an advanced transmission with selectable underdrive, new comp-worthy shocks, and multiple other innovations and features, the SCX10 Pro offers the ultimate foundation when top level performance is the goal.  The lightweight, highly adjustable Pro chassis is a comp-specific design that’s optimised for climbing, side hilling, and break over.  The multi-piece axles are built with steel tubes and can accommodate a chassis-mounted (CMS) or axle-mounted (AMS) servo. The motor mount positions the motor low and forward in the chassis for improved weight distribution.  It also allows you to underdrive the rear axle via servo or to manually lock the rear axle in 1:1 or underdrive.

Axial UTB18 Capra 1:18 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy

Axial’s popular Capra has an all-new member of the family that comes in a compact 1:18-scale size but packs a big punch – the UTB18 Capra 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy. Fully equipped and ready-to-run, it is similar in design to the popular 1/10 scale Capra 1.9 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy and has a scaled-down Capra tube chassis. Like the larger trail buggy, the UTB18 Capra also has portal axles. They give the UTB18 Capra extra ground clearance for manoeuvring. Add in its axle-mounted, low profile 1/10 scale servo for quick, strong steering and the durable 4-link suspension system, and the UTB18 Capra is ready to prove that size has nothing to do with crawling performance. Officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires mounted to officially licensed Raceline Monster wheels give it the grip to conquer rocky trails, rough dirt tracks, and most other off-road surfaces. Body panels with licensed livery, helmeted driver and passenger figures, LED lights and more combine for realistic scale looks to match its capabilities on the trails. The UTB18 comes with high-quality electronics, a Spektrum SLT2 radio, LiPo battery, and Dynamite USB charger.

Axial Capra 1.9 4WS Currie Unlimited trail buggy RTR

The Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy is now available in a new version that gives crawling enthusiasts an even more realistic and effective way to manoeuvre. Out of the box, the ready-to-run Capra 1.9 4WS Unlimited Trail Buggy features front and rear steer to make it super capable on the rocks. Axial engineers have installed steer axles at both ends for the enhanced manoeuvrability of 4-wheel steering. Using the third channel button of the included Spektrum DX3 transmitter, you can steer the rear axle from 0 (straight) to 50% or 100%, left and right, to position the tires perfectly for conquering obstacles. The transmission also includes an optional Dig setup that’s disabled from the factory (and requires upgrading to a 4-channel radio and micro servo for use). To have Dig and rear steering capabilities, remove the spacer from inside the transmission and install your micro servo. With the flick of a transmitter button, you can now activate Dig and lock the rear drive axle. That allows you to pull the buggy around by the front end while holding the rear in place. The new Capra 1.9 4WS is available in two new colour schemes, the Currie and the Nitto.

JConcepts Axial SCX24 bodies

JConcepts have released a trio of new bodyshells for the Axial SCX24 starting with this 1970’s Chevy K10. The 1970 shell is powerful, and the square body shape is a shout-out to simpler times when a hard day’s work was a bedful of goodness. For the 1970, a lot of the glamour rested in the front grille and headlight package as well as the layered and sculpted rear tail gate and taillight section. These details are found on the included decal sheet along with many emblems and trim packages to complete your body in several popular looks from that generation. A chiseled front-end is gently swept back from the centre. Fenders wells are round with raised edging making them ideal for several different 1/24th scale tires on the market.
