Bittydesign will be the latest company to jump on the ultra low downforce train that sees 190mm touring car body shells left with some of the most extreme designs so far. The Italian company’s yet unnamed lid will be unveiled on the 15th of October and it is already available for pre-order now.

Bittydesign have announced the soon release of their Vision body shell for the Mugen MBX8 Eco 1/8th electric buggy kit. Following the design elements introduced with the Vision MBX8 nitro buggy body, the electric variant will also offer a more balanced feeling while providing an easier to drive car compared to the stock Mugen kit body shell. The lid is moulded from high-quality 1mm Lexan polycarbonate, and it comes pre-cut, ensuring swift and easy prepping. Several venting holes, that can be opened if needed, allow to cool down the buggy’s electronics while the overall shape allows ample room for the LiPo battery. The body comes clear, including window masks and a pre-cut decal sheet and it fits the MBX8 Eco as well as the older spec MBX7 Eco buggies.
Bittydesign have introduced their all-new Vision 1/8th nitro buggy body shell for the Mugen MBX8. Designed in collaboration with Nitro Buggy World Champion, Robert Batlle the body will offer an easier to drive and more balanced feeling compared to the Mugen kit body thanks to a new cabin, side pod and rear side flaps design that optimises the aerodynamic characteristics. In addition a flap behind the engine area guides the air towards the rear wing for a smoother and more directed airflow around the shock tower and lower wing mount. The body comes moulded from high-quality 1mm Lexan polycarbonate and it is laser pre-cut to fit all MBX8 and older MBX7 models. Included comes a pre-cut decal sheet as well as window masks.

Following the HC-F 1/10th FWD touring car body shell Italian company Bittydesign have introduced the HC-M, a smaller variant for M-class touring cars. Designed for the use with 210mm and 225mm wheelbase chassis the body resembles an already iconic Japanese front wheel driven car with the large front splitter and specially designed rear wing making for cool looks with performance to match. The body is moulded from high-quality 0.75mm polycarbonate and it is a universal fit for most 210-225mm wheelbase 2WD and 4WD M-class chassis. Included with the lid come window masks as well as a detailed decal sheet with black, red and grey graphic elements.
Coming from Bittydesign is their all-new Vertigo rear win for 1/10th scale buggies. A universal fit for most of today’s 2WD and 4WD buggies the wing is the result of many months of testing and design to produce exceptional downforce – with the aerodynamic drag being adjustable thanks to different gurney flap cutting lines. The wing is available moulded from tough 1.5mm or lightweight 1.0mm polycarbonate with two wings include in every pack. Also up for grabs is a pre-cut variant – the latter coming in 1-piece packs.

Widened wheel arches make for an ultra-aggressive look with performance to match with the large front splitter ensuring exceptional corner entry steering without sacrificing the much needed rear end stability. The body is a universal fit for all 1/10th 190mm FWD and touring cars on the market and it comes moulded from high-quality Lexan polycarbonate material, it includes lightweight wing mounting hardware as well as window masks and a detailed decal sheet that allows to create an eye-pleasing design while only using a single colour.
Bittydesign have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming new body shell for growing 1/10th FWD touring car class. Full details and more images will become available in time for the release which is scheduled for June.
