Capricorn have introduced the new Sapporo ball bearing kits for the C803 1/8th scale car. Containing 18 Japan-made high-quality ABEC X grade ball races each, the kits are available for the “standard” and “lightweight” transmission configurations and they are meant to greatly reduce drivetrain friction and thus up acceleration, top speed and milleage.

Capricorn have introduced two new Tesla-branded set-up stations for 1/8th and 1/10th nitro on-road cars. Both are made of black anodised 7075 aluminium and they come with laser-engraved markings for easy and precise wheel camber adjustments. Additional polycarbonate plates make front and rear toe settings a breeze. Both systems come in handy bags for convenient storage and transportation.
Coming from Capricorn and made for the C03 1/10th on-road car is a new 1-piece engine mount that utilises up to six mounting screws. The new part allows for the use of the traditional four or up to six screws to secure the engine mount to the chassis. The number of bolts used affects the flex in the central area of the car and provides extra security for the long runs. Being milled out of a single piece of 7075 aluminium, the mount also provides extra stiffness and takes torsion away from the engine crankcase for better overall performance and engine life.
Italian company Capricorn has introduced the Evo chassis for the C803 1/8th scale car. Made from high-quality aluminium and coming hard anodised the black colour chassis allows to use the new 15g cylindric centre and 16g side weights to optimise weight distribution and adjust the overall weight. The chassis and weights are sold separately.
Coming from Capricorn and made for the C-03 on-road kit is a hard centre-front transmission shaft. The part is made of high-quality 7075 aluminium with a special Nickel treatment process increasing the axle’s hardness, making it hard-wearing even in the event of a ball bearing failure.

Italian company Capricorn have introduced the Power Light Kit chassis update set for the TE-03 Evo 1/10th electric touring car kit. The kit consists of a new carbon fibre main chassis that allows the use of special brackets and the new slim motor mount while still utilising the traditional motor mount if needed. Also included is a new upper deck, again to allow the use of the new motor mount and despite being slightly asymmetrical it was designed to have a perfectly linear response in both directions. As for the slim motor mount, the bulkhead moves the motor 6mm towards the centre of the car while also making it also sit 1mm lower on the chassis for an improved centre of gravity. The centre axle mount is now of a two-piece design in order to increase the flex in the centre section of the chassis. Part of the package are also the aforementioned bulkheads brackets. The new parts give the options to connect the bulkheads and the suspension mounts to the chassis for an increased stiffness. Last but not least come the V4 shock bodies and shock towers:. The shocks bodies are shorter, but thanks to the use of a single o-ring together with the new teflon bushings the overall stroke has been increased. The shorter shocks are meant to be used with the new lower shock towers.
Capricorn have announced the return of German frontrunner, Marc Fischer to their electric on-road racing team. After reaching the World Championship A-main in Beijing last August, Marc is ready to be back working together with the Italian company, racing and developing the TE-03 Evo platform through to 2018. Marc has the following to say about the deal:
I want to thank VBC, Victor Law and Carven for the short but good times. Now i am really looking forward to return to Capricorn after the A Main at the Worlds in China. I really want to thank Patrizio Rossi for the chance he gave me to race for him and for Capricorn one more time. My First Race with the TE-03 will be the ETS in Madrid, follow by the Euros, Reedy Race and all other ETS Races which will follow. I signed a contract until 2018 Worlds in South Africa, so I will have the time to prepare and am really happy about it.

Italian company Capricorn has introduced the new One long-life touring car carpet tyres. The 30 shore tyres feature a reinforced sidewall for more consistency and a longer life span. They come in sets of four and with special graphics on the rims, making them ideal as hand-out tyres for sanctioned racing.
