Contact RC Tyres have announced that their new product line is now in full production. After some final tests during last week in England and this week in Italy they are now ready to give the racers this high quality and performance package. Several months production sampling and testing with their new machinery looks like it is showing up on the track, with great lap times. Contact Tyres gives an impressive list of benefits including a perfectly balanced and true wheel, high traction and good steering due to their wheel design. Piero Torregiani will be present at the next European championship 1/8th in Locorotondo, Italy to assist team drivers and any Contact Tyres driver.

After the recent announcement of the new brand of foam tires Contact RC, Schumacher staff have been busy installing their new automatic machinery, overseen by Piero Torregiani at the Schumacher head site in Northampton. Above is the first pictures of the new 1/8th wheel and tire combo to come from these machines. Contact RC tires aim to bring you the highest standards possible for foam tire manufacturing ensuring the racer has quality and consistent performance time and time again. Piero Torregiani makes Contact with Schumacher

Contact-RC team up with Schumacher

Contact-RC is a new brand of RC racing foam tires, which are set to make a major impact in On Road racing classes this year. Contact-RC tires is lead by experienced foam tire expert Piero Torregiani who is the former top man at ATS, who helped his team drivers achieve 2008 and 2009 World and European championships in 1/8th and 1/10th scale Nitro On Road. Contact-RC tires will be manufactured by the expert engineers at Schumacher Racing in the UK with the company investing in a highly automated manufacturing process which will ensure consistent high quality products which use only the best materials and all new wheels, developed with the knowledge and experience of some of the world’s best drivers. The fully automated hardness measurement, gluing, and truing processes mean that every single tire produced will meet the exacting high standards required by top level racers. Several well known drivers are backing the project so look out for some big name driver announcements soon. Top American drivers Paul Lemieux and DJ Apolaro, as well as German champion Robin D’Hondt from Belgium will be racing with Contact-RC for the 2010 season.
