Infinity IF14-2 FWD balancing bumper weight

For the Infinity IF14-2 FWD, Creation Model have introduced this balancing weight for the front bumper with a weight of 45grams. For use on asphalt surfaces in low grip conditions or when you want to increase weight over the front axle and increase driving stability. Can be added to the kit’s standard 85 grams for a total of 130 grams and the weight also includes special new foam bumper to fit this additional weight.

Christian Velez joins US Infinity team

Infinity/Ulti America have welcomed the current ROAR 1/8 Open Champion Christian Velez to the Infinity team under the Ulti America distribution. Chris brings with him his knowledge of setup and driving skills to the expanding Infinity team in the US for all customers. He will drive the IF18-2, IF15 and IF14-2 cars this season.

Infinity IF14-2 solid aluminium chassis

For the Infinity IF14-2, Creation Model have produced this optional aluminium main chassis plate. This solid aluminium chassis is suitable for high bite carpet tracks, such as US style black carpet where you want to limit flex in the chassis. Machined from 2mm high quality aluminium and finished with black anodising.

Infinity Team pit bag

From Creation Model is this pit bag, featuring a black body with red stitching and the Infinity logo. A fairly standard affair, it has two large compartments for larger items such as the starter box, spare tires etc. and 6 larger outer pockets for various items such as spare parts that are needed in the pit lane. There are pouches for the fuel gun and fuel bottle and one side also features a tool holder for essential tools such as tuning screw driver and pocket booster. The bag features a comfortable padded handle and the whole thing can be folded flat for easy transport.

Infinity IF18-2 softer front composite parts

Creation Model have produced these softer composite parts for the Infinity IF18-2. The new parts include a front lower arm end and the front suspension inserts. Both parts use a softer material than stock, which helps increase crash resistance and makes the steering response more mild and make it easier to drive.

Infinity IF14-2 FWD options

New for the Infinity IF14-2 and IF14-2 FWD from Creation Model comes three new option parts. First up for the FWD is the flex bridge graphite top deck that features the same adjustability offered on the IF14-2 and which allows you to tune the chassis flex of the rear section of the car. Next up, also for the FWD, is this upper arm mount upgrade set that allows you to adjust the camber link length and height to perfectly tune your setup for any conditions. Finally there is a new 4 degree hard c-hub set which by using it you will notice increased response and improved steering from the beginning to the middle part of the corner.

Infinity UFO & slim head titanium screws

Creation Model have introduced 4 new Infinity titanium screws, the first of which is this UFO head M2.5x6mm screw. Machined from high quality 64 titanium material it can be used to attach the anti-roll bar holder of the IF14-2 and IF14-2FWD. The other 3 screws are slim head screws that come in M3x8mm, M3x10mm and M3x14mm. The M3x8mm replace the steel slim head screws used to mount the rear chassis stiffener on the IF14-2FWD these will reduce weight and allow for fine chassis flex tuning. The M3x10mm are a direct replacement of the steel rear body mount screws of the IF18-2 and IF15W. And finally the M3x14mm slim head screw replaces the steel slim head screws used in the installation of the IF18-2 front blocks. The wrench size used is 2.0mm, and can also be tightened with a firm torque.

Infinity IF18-2 rear carbon body mount

For the Infinity IF18-2, Creation Model have released this rear carbon body mount. Compared to the standard plastic rear body mount, this new carbon mount increases the height of the body by 3mm. In addition, the cross-sectional shape of the carbon plate and A7075 adapter matches the latest body shapes such as EXTREME’s Diablo and Protoform’s R19 without any gaps. This allows the downforce to be transferred to the tires without loss and improving rear grip. The left and right carbon plates can be fine-tuned with set screws to accommodate individual body shapes. The connection to the car body can be made in three step width directions and also absorbs the twisting of the mounting part when toe-in is applied.
