Coming from DKT and made for the Team Associated RC8B3 are front arm A and B mounts in high roll centre specification. Developed with the help of Italian frontrunner and newly-crowned Neo Race Nitro Buggy champion, Davide Ongaro the parts are machined from aircraft-grade aluminium and they come black anodised for wear and looks. The mounts are available separately or as combo set including both the A and B hangers.
DKT have introduced their new Hyper Traction HT clutch shoes. Made from a special aluminium material and featuring a design that increases the shoe’s contact patch, the parts greatly improve clutch efficiency and performance while also being very reliable at high temperatures. When used in medium-high to high grip conditions, using the HT clutch shoes also improve fuel consumption and tyre life. The shoes are compatible with all DKT flywheels.
Italian company DKT have introduced the Revolver Evo III 2-speed SuperGT gearbox. The assembly features a number of refinements such as a new main shaft for improved durability and less vibrations while a new hardening process and other details on the 2-speed assembly make for more reliable performance even in long mains. The gearbox is available separately or including a centax or centrifugal-style clutch bell and it fits a range of belt-driven GT chassis.
DKT have introduced their new series of high-performance ball bearings. Made in Japan the ball races are meant to run much smoother while also being highly temperature resistant, making them ideal especially for nitro applications. So far the range includes 5x10x4mm and 5x8x2.5mm bearings that come as 2-piece packages.
Italian company DKT have introduced their new 3-shoe lightweight clutch for 1/8th nitro GT cars. Based off of the company’s off-road clutch the IFMAR-legal GT variant, made using anodised 7075 aluminium, is of a lightweight design thanks to additional machining, making for improved acceleration. The included alloy clutch shoes sport bronze inserts, such as found on engine conrods, to keep them from locking-up at high temperatures and to improve overall durability. All parts are made in Italy and the clutch fits most 1/8th nitro GT cars and it is available now.
Italian company DKT have introduced the full carbon fibre option set for the Kyosho MP9 TKI4 and TKI3 1/8th nitro buggies. Including a carbon fibre radio plate, AMB transponder mount, centre diff plate and front steering plate the set not only makes for a lower weight and improved looks but the parts are also meant to be stiffer than the standard kit items. All four parts are also available separately.
DKT have introduced new front and rear carbon fibre shock towers for the Mugen MBX7R 1/8th off-road buggy. The front tower is cut from 5mm carbon fibre for extra rigidity and durability while the rear 4mm variant offers additional upper mounting positions for the shock absorbers. The lightweight shock stays scrub around 40 percent of weight compared to the original alloy parts and they are available separately or as a combo set. Also new is the Shield Shock called front shock tower protector that improves the durability of the somewhat delicate upper section of the front shock tower as it reduces the chance of the carbon to crack, split or delaminate in the event of a crash. The shock tower protector is available in black and orange colour.
Available soon from DKT is a graphite front steering plate for the Mugen MBX7R. The part offers improved steering response and durability compared to the standard composite plate and it comes with a set of aluminium spacers for a drop fit.
