DKT now have their new bronze insert clutch shoes for Mugen-style nitro off-road clutches available. Developed with the help of Riccardo “Verry” Verardo the bronze insert is made from the same material as used with engine connecting rods and they significantly reduce friction for improved clutch smoothness and a longer life of the flywheel pins.

The new DKT clutch system is designed to obtain the best power transmission, while also being completely customisable to adapt the power band to your driving style and track conditions. Using top quality materials, the flywheel is made of hard coated aluminium and all the components are interchangeable with original Mugen parts. Supplied with a D-block nut, the shoes are available in 3 different materials, Alu Ultra Hard, Alu Hard and Carbon and there are also three different types of springs available, 0.9mm, 1.0mm and 1.1mm.

Italian company DKT introduce the DBlock flywheel retaining system for the Mugen buggy clutch. Designed to make for easier and faster maintenance the system also helps avoiding any damage to the springs as it features two nuts, one of which secures the flywheel to the crankshaft, while the second holds the clutch springs and shoes in place. To maintain or change the springs or shoe you simply have to undo the upper nut while the flywheel retaining nut remains untouched. The DBlock system is fully compatible with the Mugen kit parts.

Italian company DKT introduce a range of carbon fibre option parts for the Radiosistemi RR8 1/8th scale nitro buggy. Made to replace the standard aluminium parts with lightweight yet strong carbon parts, available soon are front and rear shock towers, steering knuckle levers, a centre differential brace and the radio plate including a battery mounting brace. All parts are a direct replacement for the stock alloy parts.
