FTW DEX210 carbon rear shock tower

FTW Racing Components announce the release of a carbon fibre rear shock tower for Team Durango’s DEX210 buggy. Eliminating the flex of the OEM piece and being exponentially stronger the new part also improves the airflow to the wing due to the lower centre section. All factory mounting locations and adjustments are retained and the wing mount holes are countersunk for a sleeker look.

Team Durango DEX410 & ‘408 option parts

Team Durango release new option parts for the DEX410 and ‘408 line of 4WD off-road vehicles. Made for the DEX410 line of cars is the aluminium servo saver arm that replaces the stock plastic part with a CNC-machined and hard anodised aluminium version. The part offers increased strength over the kit item and is a direct replacement. The other new parts are volume compensating foams for the ‘408 line of electric and nitro off-road buggies. The foam is designed to be fitted above the shock diaphragm inside the shock cap and is intended to be used in conjunction with the company’s vented shock caps and offers additional support to the diaphragm when used with the vented caps. The compensators can also be used with the stock shock caps for increased rebound characteristics and extra tuning possibilities.

Pro-Line 2012 Bulldog for DEX410 & DEX210

Pro-Line Factory Team driver and TD pilot from Austria Hupo Honigl asked Pro-Line to develop the most advanced body yet for his DEX410 and DEX210 race cars.  Pro-Line delivered with the 2012 BullDog body specifically designed around the unique Team Durango buggies. The design incorporates the new BullDog styling for 2012 that creates even more stability with enhanced steering to gain an advantage on the track. The windshield is steeper to create more down force over the front wheels and the roof ridges have been raised to channel the air flow over the middle of the body for increased high-speed stability. The rear of the roof has been lowered and fins have been added to achieve stable air flow over the body. The fins also add rigidity to the body to increase aerodynamic efficiency.

Durango DESC210 2wd SC truck

At last weekends opening Euro Offroad Series race we were given a look at the soon to be released Team Durango DESC210 short course truck. The truck was making its debut in the Czech Republic and the team were using the event to test the final production parts on the car. Based off the DEX210 buggy, the chassis is all but identical but made longer to accommodate the larger trucks dimensions. Just like the DEX210, the car can be set up in rear or mid motor configurations, with the mid motor on carpet proving be very effective. We were told to expect a release in about 2 months.
