Tresrey DEX210/410 hop-up parts

Tresrey have released new hop-up parts for the Team Durango DEX210/410 expected to be released in early February. First up is the aluminium RF suspension hanger for more stiffness and durability. Changing “kick-up” angle to 3deg from 2deg which is kit standard makes the rear of the car more stable and gives you more room to set-up.

RDRP DEX210 option parts

Revolution Design racing products have released the first renderings of the new line of option parts for the popular Team Durango DEX210 Buggy Set to be  released in March 2012, they will be shown for the first time at next week’s Nuremburg Toy Fair, which you can follow live on Red RC from Wednesday.

DE Racing DEX410 Borrego front wheels

DE Racing have announced the release of their “Borrego” buggy wheels for the front of Team Durango’s DEX410 “V3” 4wd buggy. They include all the same features from the rest of our buggy line in addition to a 14mm mounting hex and offset specific to the DEX410 “V3”. They are available in black, silver, white and yellow.

Hobbico acquires Axial, Team Durango & Arrma

Big news tonight with Hobbico, Inc. announcing that they have acquired the Axial, Team Durango and Arrma brands. Axial will continue to operate as an independent company from its facility in Irvine, California, while Team Durango and Arrma will also continue independently from their current offices in Ashby, Leicestershire, UK. Richard Cree joins Team Durango

Richard Cree joins Team Durango

Multiple Euros A-Finalist and well respected racer, Richard Cree has signed up to race with Team Durango for 2012. Richard, who works as a design engineer for McLaren F1, transitioned to 1/8th buggy a few years ago from 1/10th off road and this is where he’ll be concentrating his skills as well as contributing his vast knowlege to the development of the DNX408. Richard will also be wheeling the new DEX210 at some select races between his 1/8th commitments. Richard had this to say:

I’m really excited about getting involved with the development of the Team Durango platforms. I feel my blend of professional motorsport experience mixed with my RC experience puts me in a unique position to help the guys in the design team push things forward. My first priority is getting plenty of track time with my new rides to get familiar with the geometry, then we can start working on set ups and future developments.

Durango DESC410R rear bumper

Durango have announced that the DESC410R rear bumper is now available. The new full-width rear bumper gives extra protection as well as scale looks and also meets the strict rules governing some race meetings where large rear bumpers are a requirement. The bumper can be run in lightweight or full-protection setups by adding or removing the included optional lower bar. The bumper comes supplied with instructions on fitting and you can read a full online guide on installing the bumper and cutting the bodyshell to fit.

FTW DEX210 carbon fibre steering rack kit

FTW Racing Components have introduced its carbon fibre steering rack kit for Team Durango’s new DEX210 buggy. The kit was developed in response to demand from racers for a robust alternative to the stock piece. Maintaining the stock dimensions and mounting locations it drastically improves the rigidity of the steering link for improved precision and durability. The kits includes the link and hardware necessary for a simple bolt-on installation. Like all FTW carbon fiber components, the steering rack is fabricated in the USA from high grade USA carbon fibre.

Tresrey DEX210 high grade ball bearing set

Tresrey has released this new high grade ball bearing set for Team Durango’s DEX210. The set includes 8pcs of 5x10x4mm and 4pcs of 10x15x4mm, both with plastic Teflon shielded bearings for lower rotational resistance. Also includes 2pcs of 5x13x4mm Rubber shield ball bearings for outside (wheel side) of the rear hub carrier, and two types of Metal shield ball bearings for the gear box and the differential for increasing drive efficiency and durability.
