Elangears have introduced their new Elan AI 100W multi-chemistry DC compact charger. Housed in an all-metal case and featuring a blue back-lit display and single knob operation, the device is good for charge rates of up to 10A with up to 6S Lithium batteries. The charger features the AI Charge battery management that ensures short charge times without stressing the battery for increased battery life while a 1-click start function makes using the charger easy and convenient while also ensuring LiXX packs are charged using suitable parameters in terms of charge current and charge end voltage. A dedicated LiHV mode makes the charger, that will become available shortly, future-ready for the new generation of high-voltage LiPo batteries.
Elangears have introduced their new Elan R AI multi-chemistry DC charger. Based on the Elan R the AI variant comes with a new Lithium battery scan feature that makes for more convenient and secure battery charging. Before the charge process starts the device runs through a couple of routines, indicating the battery type and voltage to choose the best possible charge program and settings. After user confirmation the charger automatically starts the charging process and adapts the charging values if needed, based on the battery’s parameters such as voltage, current and internal resistance. The system is meant to minimise stress for the battery while still allowing for short charging times. With 100W of charge power the device allows for up to 10A or charge current with 1S to 6S LiPo, LiHV and LiFe batteries and it can also handle 1 to 14-cell NiMH batteries if needed. The charger is housed in a compact 91x120mmx45mm case and it features a backlit 2-lines, 16-characters LC display.
Elangears have introduced their upgraded Elan R Pro multi-chemistry DC charger. Building on the previous model the 2016 version is constructed using parts sourced from a different supplier for improved quality and reliability and it features an upped charging power of now 250W, allowing for a charge rate of up to 20A and a discharge rate of up to 7A. The charger is now also LiHV-compatible to allow the charging of up to 6-cell Lithium-Polymer High-Voltage batteries. In terms of menu operation and software features the charger was left untouched. The upgrade Elan R Pro will become available soon.
Elangears have introduced the Cube Pro, a 26W micro DC charger for up to 3S LiXX and 7 cell NiXX battery packs. Weighing in at only 100g and measuring 60x47x28mm the compact charger offers selectable 1A, 1.5A and 2A charge current at 11 to 16V input and it comes in an orange anodised aluminium heatsink case with built-in balancer for save and convenient operation.
Elangears have released a new compact charger called the Tiny-G. Featuring a very small footprint this DC unit can charge up to 10A and discharge at maximum 1A and can handle all the common types of batteries. When charging Li-HV (Lithium High Voltage) cells the screen displays the internal resistance of the batteries and users can also control the charging current at the beginning of charge.
Elangears introduce their Elan R X2 black edition AC/DC multi-chemistry charger. The dual output device offers the same specifications and features as the standard X2 but comes in an all-black aluminium case. It is powered by 100 to 240VAC or 11 to 16VDC, offers up to 10A charge and 7A discharge current and is usable with up to 6S LiPo and 14 cell NiMH battery packs. The charger whose measures 178x151x90mm weights in at 1250g and is available very soon.
Elangears have released a new compact AC/DC charger, the Elan Mini. Featuring a single DC output when powered by AC it can output up to 7A while when DC powered it can charge up to 12A. Featuring a discharge feature up to 7A it also sports a 5V 4A USB port. The unit can handle the full range of the most popular battery types and with a small footprint (135x95x80mm) it weighs in at 730grams. Elangears also has a new Power Bridge that distributes 12V DC through 4 outputs (2x40A & 2x10A) and 2xUSB ports. Two of the outputs also sport an on off switch.
Elangears soon have the new Elan R ACDC multi-chemisty charger available. It is designed to charge 1S to 6S LiXX and 1 to 14 cell NiXX packs beside 2 to 20V Pb batteries and offer up to 15A of charging current. Additionally the Elan R ACDC offers up to 7A discharge current. The charger is powered by an internal 100 to 240VAC power supply and it is also useable with external 11 to 16VDC power sources. The sturdy case offers left hand power input and output ports, the balancer connector, a 5V/1.5A USB port and a charging tray for the battery. The case measure 140x151x90mm with the charger weighting in at 1600g.
