Coming from Exotek is the version 2 carbon fibre top plate for the Losi Mini 8ight AVC buggy. Cut from 2mm carbon fibre the part is of a heavy duty design and extra rigid, helping to prevent centre driveshaft bending. The updated V2 design is made to work with the new Mini 8ight AVC gear cover set and the set includes a bolt-on 6061 alloy gear cap and an antenna mount.
Coming from Exotek and made for the Xray XB4 series of buggies are 12 degree C-hubs. They are machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium for improved rigidity and come polished and black anodised for a factory look. Laser-etched marking help with easy identification of the parts that add to the already existing 9 degree variants made by Exotek.
New from Exotek Racing come three option parts for the Team Durango DEX410 4WD buggy. First up is the Pro Servo Mount set, a heavy duty 2-piece mount and steering brace that makes working on the DEX410 platform much easier. The multi-piece design allows to remove either the servo or the steering cranks from the chassis independently of each other. This makes trackside repairs and adjustments much easier while increasing the strength of the servo mount assembly thanks to the machined 7075 alloy components. The set is usable for all DEX410 vehicles form v1 to v5.
Coming from Exotek and made for Xray’s XB2 2WD buggy are several new option parts. First up is the adjustable LiPo battery strap machined from high-quality carbon fibre and made for the Carpet Edition XB2. The slotted strap is of a heavy duty yet lightweight design and it includes hardware that positions the LiPo securely so that the bulky foam blocks are not needed. The carbon strap is stiffer than the stock nylon piece and features a mounting hole that allows to install a turnbuckle link in order to increases chassis stiffness.
Coming from Exotek is an aluminium rear hub set for the HB D413 as well as a 72T Flite series spur gear. Starting with the rear hubs, they are machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and they feature vertical ball stud mounting positions for easy and precise roll centre adjustments. The hubs are of a heavy duty design but light of weight at the same time. Machined bearing seats make for precise bearing fit. An optional 3mm set screw on the hinge pin makes for improved hinge pin fit. Included with the hubs come two 2mm alloy washers to match the stock suspension geometry. Also new is the 48 pitch 72T Flite spur gear for Exotek’s slipper eliminator hubs. Made from fully machined POM to insure true roundness, the extra interior machining reduces the overall weight for a low rotating mass.
Exotek have introduced the Exo22SCT aluminium and carbon fibre conversion kit for the TLR22SCT and SCT 2.0. With its simple and efficient layout, the chassis design offers improved rearward weight positioning of the battery and electronics to better suit a variety of track conditions while also allowing for the faster and easier to drive side ways mounted shorty battery positioning. The chassis set includes the machined and black anodised 2.5mm 7075 aluminium main chassis, 5mm carbon side rails and a redesigned battery mount that also acts as the top deck. The increased chassis footprint allows for more electronic layout options and proper weight balancing while maintaining a low centre of gravity. The conversion kit is available soon and it requires a TLR22SCT or SCT 2.0 truck in mid motor configuration.
Exotek have introduced a battery post and twist nut set for the TLR22 3.0 buggy. The lightweight and secure design does away with the stock body clip system with the set including two machined aluminium posts, two knurled twist nuts as well as mini rubber O-rings that stop the twist nuts when tightened them down, to prevent the nuts from accidentally loosening.
Exotek have introduced an aluminium main chassis plate for the Exotek Exo-Five conversion kit. The chassis is machined from 7075 aluminium, polished, black anodised and laser-etched for the full factory treatment. The chassis is intricately machined to reduce overall weight but retains stiffer flex traits than the carbon fibre chassis and is 23 grams heavier to insure the lowest possible centre of gravity for carpet racing. The chassis is meant to perform well on both carpet and asphalt tracks.
