Hitec Power Peak D7 AC/DC multi-chemistry charger

New from Hitec comes the Power Peak D7 AC/DC multi-chemistry dual output charger. It features two independent 200-watt output ports and produces up to 20 amps of charge current each. The device also features Mini-USB sockets, allowing to monitor battery health using the Logview software, and stay current with convenient software updates. The 5V/1A USB charge socket provides compatibility with all your Smartphones, digital cameras and other USB-powered devices and Multiplex’s integrated BID system brings unprecedented convenience and safety to the Power Peak D7, with its worry-free programming for batteries with the optional BID keys and chips. Essential pack configuration data is automatically passed to the charger, allowing to simply plug in the battery and start charging, without any further setup effort. The PowerPeak D7 has two separate backlit, graphic screens for readability and four language choices of English, German, French or Italian.

Hitec X2 700 multi-chemistry dual output charger

Hitec’s X2 700 Multicharger is a high-performance dual output multi-chemistry charger for the use on 11V to 30VDC power sources. It features two 700 watt output ports – delivering up to 30A charge current –  for increased capacity while supporting all battery chemistries, including the latest LiHV cells. The microprocessor control and Hitec’s free Charge Master software allow for full PC control of the charger through its integrated USB port, from basic setup to full software analysis of the battery’s health and performance. The new Synchronous Mode has the second output port automatically mirror the channel one settings to charge multiple similar batteries with minimal setup time.

Hitec D-series 32-bit high-performance servos

New from Hitec come the D-series 32-bit high-performance digital servos for a range of 1/8th and 1/10th scale applications. Combining high-resolution and ultra-response technology with a 32-bit MCU and 12-bit ADC for programmability and flexibility, these servos are meant to deliver significantly smoother movement. The speedy, powerful line operates on a wide 4.8 to 8.4 voltage range, allowing use with any common battery chemistry without the need for adapters or regulators. The dual ball-raced coreless motor servos come in several specifications, as are the titanium gear D-980TW (0.14s/44kg-cm), D-950TW (0.14s/35kg-cm), D-945TW (0.10s/23kg-cm), and D-940TW (0.06s/16.5kg-cm). Also available are the metal geared D-645MW (0.17s/13kg-cm) and the D-625MW (0.13s/10kg-cm). All sport industry standard dimensions with the 9-series servo featuring a heatsink middle case while the 6-series servo sporting a plain mid section.

Coming from Hitec and targeting large scale applications is the new HS-1100WP ultra high-performance digital servo. The heavy-duty item measures 64 x 33 x 73mm and it features durable steel gears, robust EMI-shielded cases and an IP-67 rated code for maximum underwater protection. Other features include a non-programmable, industrial-standard circuitry, 5-pole brushed motor and 14.8V high-voltage compatibility for up to 110kg-cm of torque at a speed of up to 0.19s/60°.

Thilo Tödtmann signs with Hitec

Hitec have announced the signing of Germany’s Thilo Tödtmann to their team. The 1/10th nitro on-road ace will use Hitec’s Lynx 4S radio system from now on and he has the following to say:

I tried the Lynx 4S at the ENS event in Ettlingen where I decided that this will be my new radio. The transmitter has very good ergonomics and it is super fast with its 12 bit transmission.

Yannic Prümper signs with Hitec

Hitec have announced the signing of German frontrunner Yannic Prümper to their team. Yannic, who won the Italian round of this year’s Euro Touring Series, will use the company’s Lynx 4S radio system from the upcoming ETS finale in Slovakia on. The Yokomo factory driver has the following to say about the deal:

I am very happy to be part of the Hitec team and I cannot await my first race with the new radio system. The transmitter is very well balanced and perfectly fits my needs. I really look forward to use the Lynx 4S at the ETS finale in Trencin.

Adam Drake joins Hitec factory team

Adam Drake joins Hitec factory team

Hitec RCD USA have announced the signing of Mugen Seiki’s Adam Drake to use their full product line. Since 2005, Adam has been a Hitec team driver using their servo technology to make him a world-renowned racing champion. Now, in addition to running Hitec’s brushless servos, Adam will be piloting his vehicles using the company’s radio systems also, specifically the Lynx 4S radio and Axion line of receivers.
