Hobbywing have released 2 new speed controllers, the first the Xtreme stock ESC, for the racer who demand’s everything from a sensored unit. Rated at 60A this ESC will suit the 8.5T motor range and above which will run the company’s turbo boost timing software. Available in black or blue anodizing and with the option of attaching the supplied cooling fan, it also features a no turbo boost timing mode. When the throttle is in the neutral position a red LED will flash meaning the turbo timing is switched off making it simple to scrutineer. The new club spec ESC is rated at 45 amp and will run a motor from 13T and above. The club spec, also known as Justock, doesn’t feature and can’t run the turbo boost timing software and is great for a single speedo spec class, helping to create some close racing without braking the bank.
