HB Racing D413 hard suspension arms

Coming from HB Racing are hard suspension parts for the D413 1/10th 4WD buggy. Available for the front and the rear, the arms are moulded from a harder composite material for increased overall stiffness and thus improved handling on high-bite surfaces while also reducing the buggy’s sensitivity to changing traction conditions.

Coming from Exotek are a 4-piece split motor plate set for the HB Racing D413 buggy as well as the trick camber savers. Starting with the motor plate, the set is of a unique design that allows for quicker access to the buggy’s centre differential without the need to remove the top plates or ripping out the whole centre bulkhead assemblies. After removing the battery and the top diff cover the two side plates are released so that the diff comes out from the side. HB Racing officially announce Cody King deal

HB Racing have announced the addition of 2010 IFMAR 1/8 Nitro Buggy World Champion, Cody King to their team. The former long-time Kyosho driver was linked to HB Racing for some time now but it took until the week of the 2017 The Dirt Nitro Challenge to officially announce the deal. Cody has the following to say:

It’s exciting to join the HB Racing team, and be reunited with Philippe Neidhart, Adrien Bertin, and David Ronnefalk. Clearly the platform has potential after winning 3 of the last 5 Worlds, including the last 2 in a row. The Team Orion engines have only improved over the last few years, and I won the Pattaya Worlds with Team Orion power. It feels like a fresh start with a great team, and I’m looking forward to 2017 and beyond.

HB Racing reveal full D817 details

HB Racing have finally officially revealed all details of the D817 1/8th scale nitro buggy. The pre-production D817 buggy snatched the 2016 IFMAR World Championship title in the hands of Sweden’s David Ronnefalk and it is up for grabs for everyone else now. The buggy comes with a long wheelbase chassis with the chassis’s outer shape has been revised compared to the 815 as it is now symmetrical left-to-right. The steel rear skid plate has been removed for lighter weight and a revised D-Mount works in conjunction with the new chassis, and has added material at the bottom for longer wear. 3.0 degree toe-in is the standard D-mount in the kit, and optional D-mounts now come in finer 0.25 degree increments with 2.75, 3.00, 3.25, and 3.50 variants available. The rear hub geometry has evolved to allow a lower axle height and the camber link location hole pattern to be shifted higher and allows for a longer rear link. The settings that worked on the D815 car can still be replicated but HB Racing removed the unused settings and added new ones. This rear hub is the same standard hub that comes on the E817. The buggy is also equipped with universal drive shafts for improved bumpy track performance and for ease of maintenance but the CVA shafts from the D815 are still compatible with the D817. New body mounts that are made of tougher material are included and virtually all of the tuning parts available for the D815 are still compatible with the D817.

VRP E817 3.5 degree rear toe block

Vision Racing Products have introduced a 3.5 degree toe-in rear suspension block for the HB Racing E817 1/8th E-buggy. The part is machined from high-quality aluminium, it comes black anodized and helps to make for a more planted rear end. The straight block locks into the chassis like the standard block, but uses a delrin spacer to take the place of the rectangle section that is locked down to the chassis.
