Answer-RC Hot Bodies DB bearing set

New from Answer RC is this complete set of 24 Bearings for the World Champion Hot Bodies D8 buggy. These are superb quality and spec’d to be longer lasting and able to cope with higher rpm. Excellent quality and superb value. These bearings use 1 x rubber seal and 1 x metal shield, which is to be installed with the rubber seal facing the dirt. The metal shield offers less resistance therefore reducing load on the bearing giving a higher max rpm.

Hot Bodies Factory ride height gauge

Hot Bodies Factory rideheight gauge

Hot Bodies have released this new factory touring car ride height gauge. Made from anodized black aluminium and featuring the HB logo engraved on the side, the gauge can measure from 0.5mm to 10mm, in 0.5mm increments.

Hot Bodies have released the new Moore-Speed Mazda 6 bodyshell, which has been improved for extra downforce, sleeker lines and improved traction in all conditions. The new bodyshell features several aerodynamic tweaks for more high-speed steering and a longer profile for improved straight-line stability, this will be the body to have for circuits of any size. From its new air splitter to the revised rear spill plates, this Moorespeed bodyshell is all-new and all about speed and handling. The front bumper, splitter, winglets, and the new bonnet bulge all enhance steering at high speed. A deep aero-channel from the windscreen to the rear deck improves air flow to the rear wing and new lip spoiler, while new bumper spill plates aid the exit of air from under the body.

JConcepts Illuzion D4 Scoopless body

New from JConcepts is this Illuzion D4 Scoopless body which has gone radical and now sports a new low profile appearance. This new shell has been dressed with a newly designed cab which incorporates a noticeably missing cab scoop, while the styling presents a smooth yet detailed design, incorporating many of the features from the original BJ4 Worlds Edition and B44 Hi-Flow body. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and durable design are just some of the features that make up the new Illuzion D44 Scoopless body. Made from heavy-duty thickness polycarbonate with protective film, the body is supplied with two 6.5” high downforce V-wings as well as window masks and detailed Illuzion decal sheet.

Hot Bodies Cyclone TC options

Some more new items from Hot Bodies for the Cyclone Touring car with the release of this single piece steering assembly. Made from purple anodised aluminium, and ball raced for precision, this new product eliminates all play by removing the previous 2 elements of the servo saver and combining it into 1 piece, making the steering more direct. Also new is this set of stronger purple anodised aluminium anti roll bar ball joint mounts, which replace the single piece plastic versions that come in the standard kit. Supplied with all the required fasteners.

Jaad Racing Cyclone pivot blocks

Jaad Racing have just released these optional pivot blocks for the Hot Bodies Cyclone. Available in + and – 0.5 degrees for the FR and RR pivot blocks, and a 3.5 degree front or rear pivot block, the user can achieve 3.0 degrees toe. Through their testing they found that wider pivot blocks make the car stiffer, and narrower blocks makes the car roll more, hence as a general rule wider blocks are used on the rear or narrower in the front when more steering is needed. All blocks are made from 7075 aluminium and have been purple anodised. Available now.

Hot Bodies Cyclone TC parts

Following the release of the Cyclone TC, which we showed you back in March, Hot Bodies have released the standard TC parts as option parts for the other Cyclone’s in the range. The front and rear bulkheads, as well as the middle block and motor mount are now available and are all purple anodised with the main difference being aesthetic, no longer featuring a chamfered edge. For performance improvements there are the new shock bodies for smoother shock action, while new front and rear graphite wishbones give an extra lower shock mount. Finally, there is the Cyclone TC sway bar holder that includes everything you need to upgrade to this new system with the exception of the anti-roll bar.
