Hotrace Astro V1 1:10 Buggy tyre

Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace Tyres has added to its 1:10 Offroad tyre range with the introduction of the new Astro V1. As the name highlights, racing on artificial surfaces require a lot of stability and forward-bite and the design team went to work to substantially improve performance. The new Astro V1 is light-weight , very versatile, and has shown it works in many natural and artificial conditions in low or high grip conditions. It is offered in 2 compounds, Soft (Pink dot) and Medium (Blue dot).

Hotrace ‘Hawaii’ 1:8 Buggy tyre

Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace Tyres has announced its newest 1:8 Buggy racing tyre release, the Hawaii. Based off their successful Sahara carcass, it’s pattern features a smaller tread package making it ideal for smoother track conditions, consistent racing and high-end performance. The design revolves around the centre structure which has medium sized, The lugs have strategically placed cuts and grooves to allow flex in dusty conditions. The outer portion of the tread fits together like blocks, but also work together to flex laterally to provide a great side-bite. The Hawaii is available pre-glued and in all of Hotrace’s compound options.

Orlowski joins Hotrace

Hotrace has announced that reigning 1:12 World Champion Michal Orlowski will represent both its tyre brand as well as its LensBodies bodyshell brand. One racing’s most versatile racers, completing at the top level of both onroad and offroad racing, the Polish driver makes the switch to the Italian company having previously represented JConcepts. As part of the new deal Hotrace say the factory Schumacher driver will help with the development of its products in 1:10 Offroad, 1:10 Electric Touring Car, 1:8 Offroad and 1:12 Onroad. On the announcement Orlowski posted, ‘I am thrilled to announce my partnership with Hotrace Tyres Factory and LensBodies for 2026! I have known Nicola Marrone for a long time and it is high time to begin our official cooperation! I am looking forward to growing Hotrace and LensBodies brands together.’

Hotrace V2 Carpet 1:10 Offroad Rear Tyre

Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace has released an updated version of the its 1:10 Offroad Carpet tyre it brought to market at the beginning of 2025. The new V2 rear has the same carcass as the V1, but with an updated tread design that uses smaller, directional pin for improved performance especially on high grip track conditions. The Carpet V2 rear is available in soft, soft/medium, and medium compounds.

Hotrace Napoli 1:8 Buggy Tyre

A tyre that a number of drivers tried at the Asian Buggy Championships Australia over the weekend, Hotrace has now official announced the release of their new Napoli 1:8 buggy tyre. The newest tyre from the Italian manufacturer, it is designed for indoor or high traction outdoor tracks. Compared to their established Sahara tyre, the outside pins help to have more rotation in the corners even when the track is not 100% clean and centre pins offer massive forward bite and great tire wear thanks to the connected bar and pins thicker tread. The Napoli will be available in all Hotrace compound offerings.

Edmunds joins Hotrace Tyres

Mayako Youth Mentoring Program driver and Asian Buggy Championships race winner Jayden Edmunds has joined Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace for the remainder of the 2025 season. The 19-year-old Australian opened the 2025 season with the biggest win of his career to-date when he took victory at opening round of the Cayote backed Asian Buggy Championships in New Zealand in March. Also a finalist at the second round, the Philippine Masters, on the announcement Edmunds posted, ‘Super excited to announce I’ll be joining the Hotrace Tyres for the rest of 2025! This is an amazing opportunity and I have to say a big thank you to Nicola for taking me on board mid way through the year. Safe to say I’m very keen to get on track and deliver some results I’m feeling very confident in my whole package at every track we go to! We have a busy rest of the year planned, the next big race being round 3 of the Asian Buggy Championships in Brisbane.

Ronnefalk joins Hotrace Tyres

Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace has announced the signing of former 1:8 Buggy World Champion David Ronnefalk. The factory Xray driver had been racing for a time without an official tyre sponsor opting regularly to use Hotrace. A significant year for 1:8 Offroad with the running of the inaugural 1:8 Electric Buggy World Championships in Portugal later this year, the 29-year Swede will now officially represent the brand in 2025. On the announced, Ronnefalk posted, ‘Very happy to join Hotrace for the 2025 season and beyond. A special thanks to Nicola for the late recruit. First race will be next week at the IBC in Barcelos, Portugal which will be a nice warmup event for the Nitro Euros and E-Buggy Worlds later this summer. Let’s go.’

Hotrace Slick V1 1:10 Offroad tyres

Hotrace has introduced their first 1:10 slick offroad tyre which they are calling the Slick V1. Developed by Aydin Horne and Chase Lemieux who had a 1-2 finish at the INS Round 1 at Trackside Hobbies and at the Desert Classic at Hobby Action this past weekend, the Italian manufacturer says they are confident in product for use on all kinds of indoor clay dirt surfaces. They will initially start by offering it only in their white compound available for now. The rear tyre has inner webbing and proper thickness characteristics to help to have a great balance between grip and stability. The front tyre has no webbing and can be ran on both 2WD and 4WD. This thickness is ideal for 2WD on all conditions and good for a 4WD in low and medium grip track conditions. The 4WD specific Front Slick V1 has inner webbing and is perfect for 4WD especially in medium/high grip track conditions. The tyres will be offered just as rubber to help keep costs down, and eliminate the need to buy new inserts every time, or complete with blue close cell inserts.
