Italian company iRacing introduce a 2-speed gearbox for BMT 1/8th GT chassis. The set comes with all needed parts to upgrade the GT car’s single speed gearbox and includes a new layshaft, one-way housing, and gears beside all needed hardware. Also included is a threaded clutch bell with interchangeable pinion gears to help with fine-tuning of the gear ratio.

Featuring a high quality stainless steel casing, with perfectly isolated pin, the platinum wire has been precision welded at the correct length to achieve best performance and durability. Sold in a blister pack, the standard plug is available in N°3, N°4, N°5, N°6 and N°7, the Turbo in N°5, N°6 and N°7 while for High Competition the line includes a N°6, N°7 and N°5.

The design with a flat surface flywheel and tapered clutch shoes gives a progressive feel and a more consistent engagement. The clutch bell from the 1/10 version is compatible with Xray NT1 and Serpent cars. Included in the set is a hard spring that gives plenty of punch also on high grip tracks and the set comes complete with flywheel, centrifugal shoes, reverse plate, clutch shoe, locking nut, cup, spring, bearings, and more.
