Yet more releases from JConcepts who have just released the Illuzion Jammin CRT.5 body which features a stadium truck style with a hard edge. The JConcepts wedged, or “Illuzionized”, cab combined with the flared fenders and unique window shapes make this CRT.5 body clearly recognizable. This body also sports an extremely durable bed design which can withstand the rigours of intense nitro racing. Comes supplied with a protective film, window masks and Illuzion headlight decal sheet.

Jammin Products has released a limited amount of the new 2008 Super Big Bore 16mm shocks for the Jammin 1/8th line of Buggies and Truggies. The design allows the shock to be mounted to either the buggy or truggy by just utilizing different shock ends. Many new features have been included in this design including reinforced bladders, precision pistons, low friction assembly, threaded shock bodies and Teflon coated shock bodies.

Jammin CRT .5 Mini RTR Is Shipping

We showed you the CRT-5 back in January when it was announced and at the time Jammin promised a Ready-to-Run version would follow. Well OFNA/Jammin have now announced that the RTR version is now shipping and it will come complete with standard full size servos, the new Jammin .12 Pull Start Engine and an OFNA Futaba Radio system. The CRT.5 RTR offers pro kit performance with RTR convenience with features like polished pipe, sealed diff, long arm suspension and C-hub steering, plus Upgrade RC’s decal designs in three colour choices (red, blue & green).

Jammin JP-4 Tuned Pipe Set

Jammin have introduced the new JP-4 tuned pipe, designed specifically for 1/8 scale off-road racing to improve mid-range to top-end speed without sacrificing bottom-end punch. Like the rest of the JP pipes, the JP-4 features a smash-proof billet stinger and reliable spring coupler design, and is IFMAR legal meaning you can race it at sanctioned events. Available in two different coatings; hard-anodized or nickel plated chrome, the nickel plated finish is practically impervious to stains while both versions include 2 coupler grommets, springs, set screw and a spring-loaded pipe hanger.

Jammin CRT X2 truggy

RC Car Action managed to get some up close pictures of the new prototype truggy from Jammin, unofficially called the CRT X2. The new car features large bore shocks, will use larger diameter wheels, has the heavy parts of the car more centrally positioned, has a new chassis and other new changes. This car belongs to Chad Bradley and it was his team mate Taylor James, with the same car, that took the truggy class win at last weekends ROAR 1/8th truggy Nationals held at the Farm 2 track in Charlotte, N.Carolina.

King Headz Jammin Shock towers

King Headz, the metal optional parts specialists, have added 2 new products to their large range of machined parts by adding 2 new shock towers for the Jammin X1 CRT. These shock towers have been machine from 6mm 7075 aircraft grade aluminium and then anodised, which offers a huge increase in strength and rigidity over the original parts with the rear tower offering the addition of a 7th camber link hole for more tuning possibilities.

Jammin Mini CRT.5 Truggy

Jammin have announced details of their upcoming Mini Truggy, the CRT.5. Developed using the same technology and approach as is very successful bigger brother the X1-CRT, this new off roader will pack a big punch, albeit in a mini package when it is released in February. Available first as a Pro kit (shown above in photo), an RTR will follow soon after.

Jammin release new Pro .21 & .28 Engines

Jammin engines

Jammin have announced the release of 2 new pro engines, a .21 and a .28 motor. Both engines have been optimised for off road racing and both feature turbo plugs as well as a number of other performance enhancing improvements.

Tweaks to the materials, crank timing, and tolerances all played a part in getting the engine to the high performance edge that Jammin Jay requires. Both engines deliver excellent bottom end power with great top end run out.
