JConcepts Rulux wheels for Losi SCT-E

By popular demand JConcepts is bringing the Rulux 12mm hex design to the Losi SCT-E Short Course 4×4. Rulux wheels are 1:1 inspired and offer a look that is unmistakably JConcepts. No detail has been missed as the Rulux wheel incorporates a lug nut and spoke affect that emulates the real thing. Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance.

JConcepts Ford Raptor SVT X-Flow body update

JConcepts introduces an update to their One Size Fits Most ROAR National Champion winning, Ford Raptor SVT X-Flow body. With an ever increasing number of 2wd and 4wd SCT trucks on the market, a need for a body that is extremely versatile is in demand and so with confirmed placement on the Slash, Slash 4×4, SC10, SC10 4×4, Losi XXX-SCT and SCT-E, when it comes to the X-Flow body being versatile is an understatement. Officially licensed by Ford, the JConcepts Ford Raptor SVT body is inspired from the ground up as an all-out SCT race body. The X-Flow is the best handling Raptor body to date and offers even more escape paths than the original to minimize the parachute affect.

JConcepts Bar Codes V1 green & V2 orange compounds

JConcepts have announced some updates to their range of 1/10th scale Bar Codes. The Bar Codes V1 front and rear tires are now available in Super soft green compound, while the rear Bar Codes V2 are now also available in orange compound for outdoor groove.

JConcepts Medium SCT racing bag

JConcepts have updated the size of their popular medium racing bag to accommodate an even wider range of vehicles. The size is centered around the popular Short Course Trucks and the bag can accommodate the complete truck with body and tires as a complete unit with plenty of room to spare for other race and hobby gear. When assembled, the inside boxes measure, 22.5”L x 12.5”W x 6 “H.

Following the Hi-Flow Short Course body shell, JConcepts introduce another new product during this week’s 2011 ROAR Electric Off-Road Nationals. The Hazard 12mm hex wheel for Associated SC10 and SC10 4×4 kits features a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and centre lug nut detail. The Hazard will make an immediate impact on the performance of the SC10 trucks by widening the stance of the truck by 6mm in overall width. The increased width will maximise the SC10 and bring it up to the ROAR maximum legal limits in dimensional width. The wheels should be available soon.

JConcepts introduce the new Hi-Flow Short Course body shell for most of today’s 1/10 scale SC trucks. The design goal of the body, that is introduced in time for this week’s 2011 ROAR electric off-road nationals, was to eliminate the so called parachute effect often associated with SC trucks. With big air escape areas that are easily cut out using an x-acto knife and newly designed number and name panel on the sides the body provides the best possible jumping characteristics and straight-line ability.

JConcepts Finnisher body for +8mm B4.1 & Hi-Clearance wing

Seen for the first time at the recent IFMAR electric off-road World Championships in Finland JConcepts now release the Finnisher body shell for Team Associated B4.1 buggies with +8mm long-wheelbase conversions as well as the Hi-Clearance 6.5″ rear wing. An increased windshield angle provides a steady force upfront during mid-flight wind gusts on large jumps. Forward cab placement changes performance/visible bias which helps steering rotation in low traction corners. The side-pods have been simplified and JC chamfered to remove unwanted changes in height to neutralise the at-speed handling. The chassis to body fit has been tightened up which eliminates empty voids that contribute to mid-flight directional changes. The rear of the cab has a new step feature which allows the placement of a secondary side window and also a louver which can be trimmed to allow air to escape at the top of the body. Included are two of the latest 6.5″ wide Hi-Clearance rear wings.

JConcepts Illuzion B4.1 +8mm Punisher body

JConcepts now offer the Illuzion +8mm Punisher body shell for modified Team Associated B4.1 buggies. The body is a drop fit for a popular and World Championship winning modification to the length to the Associated B4.1 buggy offering a slight cab-forward design among other features to give additional down-force to the side-pods and windshield which increases drivability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/10th buggy racing featuring a super low profile design for increased air flow, escape and body placement. Included are two 6.5″ wide high downforce V-wings, window mask and decal sheet. Please note: The complex modification of an extended chassis should be performed by an expert and at the risk of the chassis owner. JConcepts is simply offering a body for the popular and race winning modification that drivers are asking for.
