JConcepts send us a quick mail to say that they are debuting three new products for Short Course trucks at this weekends Cactus Classic. The new items are Double Dees and Subcultures SC tires along with Tense wheels for the Slash 4×4. We expect to see the official release very soon along with detailed descriptions and details.

JConcepts have introduced their new Double Dees V2 tire, which is perfect for a variety of track surfaces. Wear is always the trade off when going to a small pin tire and with the Double Dees V2, these worries are a thing of the past as running qualifiers and main events on the same high performance tire is now possible. The Double Dees design uses unique technology combined with the sticky yellow and blue compound to allow the flexibility necessary to compete on even the most demanding surfaces for an extended period of time. Tires including inserts will be treated to the latest generation in profiled, closed cell, insert design, while unique materials, bright blue color and revolved relief provide extra full support and stability. Double Dees excel on indoor and outdoor hard packed surfaces with either dry or wet conditions.

For the ultimate in form and function, JConcepts introduces the Hi-Flow body for the Kyosho ZX5-FS 4wd off-road buggy. The Illuzion Hi-Flow styling presents a flowing design while incorporating many radical edge styling details for additional style and performance. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionised cab and side pod impressions combined with a durable flowing design are just a few of the features of the new Hi-Flow. Made from clear heavy-duty thickness polycarbonate with protective film the body includes two 6.5″ wide high down force V-wings, window masks and detailed Illuzion decal sheet.

Designed specifically for the HPI Blitz, it represents the latest in trends by offering a completely redesigned off-road truck body. The cab, bed and fenders are all areas of focus with one of the highlights of the styling cues including the extra fender clearance to minimize troublesome tire rubbing issues. The new Blitz Manta has also been updated to fit the HPI Blitz, incorporating the latest treatment from JConcepts in grill and headlight design with a racing influenced front bumper, front and rear fender flares, extended cab design with recessed side windows and louvers along the front hood area highlight a number of the front-end styling cues. In addition, JConcepts has included an optional rear spoiler which gives the ability to alter the look and function of the Manta.

Like the previously available versions for other cars, the hood and cab treatment are amongst the lowest in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. The bed area represents the latest offering for 1/8th truck racing featuring a super low profile design for increased engine cooling, air flow and escape.

New from JConcepts is this over-tray for the Traxxas Slash 4×4, which helps protect the chassis from excessive debris. Fitting nicely under the body, the over-tray fits snug around the entire chassis structure while being attached along the sides with hook and loop tape for quick inner access. The over-tray is built with extra height and rake to provide extra room for various electrical and battery configurations. In addition, JConcepts has incorporated an extensive scoop and louver design which can be trimmed to allow air flow and heat escape. JConcepts have also released final photos of their new Manta Short Course body shell, which is suitable for the Slash, Slash 4×4 and SC10. JConcepts has included an optional rear spoiler which gives the ability to alter the look and function of the Manta by simply adding or removing the rear spoiler.
