JConcepts Rulux Half-ups standard offset

Large diameter wheels are the craze in 1/8th off-road for blue and black grooved conditions and JConcepts is right on target with Rulux Half-ups truck wheels in standard offset. Half-ups refer to the bead mounting diameter sized at 3.7” for today’s low profile racing tires and these truck wheels make a statement with their large appearance, spoke design and superior inner rib design. Half-ups wheels also incorporate an outer glue catch that resists excess glue from running down the wheel face during the gluing process. Fits 1/8th trucks with 17mm hex and standard offset.

JConcepts Max-ups & Rulux truck wheels

JConcepts new Max-ups 1/8th buggy wheel joins the latest craze in 1/8th off-road in using large diameter wheels for blue and black grooved conditions. Max-ups refer to the bead mounting diameter being 3.5mm larger than standard size wheels and this increase in size brings the new wheels in slightly under the maximum allowed size under ROAR and IFMAR rules. Max-ups buggy wheels make a statement with their large appearance, convex dish shaped design and superior inner rib design and also incorporate an outer glue catch that resists excess glue from running down the wheel face during the gluing process. Also new from JConcepts are Rulux 1/8th truck wheels featuring standard offset as well as new Rulux front and rear truck wheel suitable for the RC10T4 and GT.

JConcepts Clash 2008 – Announcement

JConcepts Clash 2008 - Announcement

The JConcepts Clash is back for 2008. The event will take place December 12-14, 2008 and located in Coral Springs, Florida hosted by the Coral Springs R/C club. Coral Springs is approximately 30 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale international airport. This is one of the longest running clubs in Florida and has an extremely nice park located R/C track. The Clash will feature the 3 premier racing classes in the world 1/10th 2wd modified, 1/10th 4wd modified and 1/8th buggy. Watch in amazement as IFMAR World Championship TQ and ROAR National Champion Ryan Maifield takes the track in 1/8th buggy, 1/10th 4wd and 1/10th 2wd classes. In addition to the IFMAR based classes a host of other classes are available such as Enduro electric truck and Enduro buggy (J82) as well as electric 1/8th 4wd buggy, which will feature 20 minute A-mains.

JConcepts IFMAR World Champion t-shirt

JConcepts have announced the release of this new IFMAR World Champion t-shirt. Made with an ash grey coloured material, it is printed on both the front and rear with the JConcepts logo, together with a tire tread pattern design.

New from JConcepts is this Illuzion D4 Scoopless body which has gone radical and now sports a new low profile appearance. This new shell has been dressed with a newly designed cab which incorporates a noticeably missing cab scoop, while the styling presents a smooth yet detailed design, incorporating many of the features from the original BJ4 Worlds Edition and B44 Hi-Flow body. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and durable design are just some of the features that make up the new Illuzion D44 Scoopless body. Made from heavy-duty thickness polycarbonate with protective film, the body is supplied with two 6.5” high downforce V-wings as well as window masks and detailed Illuzion decal sheet.

JConcepts Hit Men Racing tires

More new tires from JConcepts, this time for 1/8th scale buggies. Called the Hit Men, the unique pyramid lug design combined with sticky compounds like yellow and blue allow the flexibility necessary to compete on a multitude of the most demanding surfaces for an extended period of time. They are a special breed, designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body.
