JConcepts rubber bump stops for monster trucks

JConcepts have released an 8-piece set of rubber bump stops for the suspension of monster trucks. In the world of RC monster trucks, its all about suspension travel. Drivers jockey for improved suspension with unique setups, conversions and shock combinations. The position of the shocks have a huge affect on performance and while more travel can help, sometimes a cushion or soft stop at the end can really smooth out the ride. JConcepts now offers a rubber bump stop which works with any combination of 3 and 3.5mm shock shaft diameters. The stop is T-shaped in design which allows the builder to place the large diameter end where more support is needed. With a solid axle beast, sometimes it is necessary to limit the up-stroke of the shock to prevent chassis, body or tyre damage. The shape also allows cushion and some fold under high impact situations as an additional benefit. The stops are 10mm in length but can be trimmed to any desired length or to suit a specific purpose. 8 pieces are included per package which is handy for outfitting multiple trucks or one truck with additional shocks.

JConcepts liquid application brush

Made to apply tyre sauces or cleaning agents is JConcepts’ new liquid application brush. The purpose-designed brush is a simple and effective way to apply cleaners, refreshers and additives to RC tyres. It has a beefy handle with additional thumb platform that allows the user to quickly and directly attack each tyre with the necessary force. In addition, the JConcepts-branded handle has been lightened during the design process with heavy pocketing for the most racy look, feel and performance. The resilient, durable and wide footprint bristles are long lasting, standing up to even the most extreme racer abuse on a consistent basis while also being used as a clean-up or scrub brush.

JConcepts rubber parts tray

JConcepts have introduced their new rubber parts tray. The tray provides a platform for organisation with its detailed design, divided pockets and steady base weight. The tray is precision-moulded in a rubber material which shows well in any pit area with the available blue and black colour options. The grippy nature of the rubber allows the parts to stay rooted where they are placed. The tray has six, built-in positions to place a differential for builds or fluid fills and can accommodate 1/10th and 1/8th sized assemblies. The iconic Dirt-Web tread pattern is raised into the surface of the largest cubicle and JConcepts.net logos blaze the outer perimeter.

Following up the release of JConcept’s Layla LMP body shell is the RC10F6 to LMP conversion kit for Team Associated’s F6 formula pan car chassis. The front of the vehicle gets an update using a carbon fibre front body mount plate and an anodised skid plate. The assembly is connected utilizing the small aluminium top deck and the combination of parts is secured to the chassis using existing hardware from the F6 kit while the included front body mounts are attached with 3mm hardware. JConcepts 1988 Chevy Silverado “Snoop Nose” MT body

Made for all 13″ wheelbase monster trucks is JConcepts’ new 1988 Chevy Silverado Snoop Nose body shell. JC revives a cult favourite with a completely redesigned body for solid axle monster truck racing. The 13″ wheelbase is perfect for the solid runners in today’s racing and with a proportioned width and “snoop nose”, the Chevy is a cut above the rest. The tucked front nose provides clearance for an assortment of tyres such as the Renegades and Firestorms while the shaved front and rear bumper faces the competition like a fighting bull. The main structure of the body remains a genuine Chevrolet style used from 1988 to 1998 and deep down represents the Heartbeat of America generation. The body comes clear, including paint mask for all windows and detailed Chevy and JConcepts logo decal sheet.

JConcepts MBX7R Strike 3 buggy body shell

JConcepts have introduced their new Strike 3 body shell for the Mugen MBX7R buggy. The body samples elements from its famous relatives the Finnisher, Silencer and Striker but packs a slightly refined image. The base enhancements to the design come from the parallel to chassis side pods, that look traditional with 1/8th buggies of the past. A large rear-end winglet has been added to aid in the rear traction stability as well as stopping force. The offset of the race proven shell provides a compact fit for fuel tank, linkage and air filter assembly while the heavy channeling on the front windshield keeps the Strike 3 aligned at high-speed. Just behind the engine head, a sleek up-rising flows from the body like running water and a sharp rise in the rear wicker blocks flow to the rear tower and redirects to the rear wing area. The clear body set includes window templates and a decal sheet and it is a direct fit for the MBX7R.

JConcepts 1966 Chevy II Nova drag racing body shell

Coming from JConcepts is the 1966 Chevy II Nova drag racing body shell. The lid shows off an extensive sharp-edged restyle based in part on the Super Nova concept vehicle. In general, proportions are squared up and features including a bold grille and semi-fastback roofline highlight the shape. Humped fenders in an angular rear-end were reminiscent of other Chevrolets from the era of style. The main shell is comprised of three pieces which includes intricate detail for the front and rear. The front-end closure shows off the single headlight style with deep recessed sections along the grille and front bumper to faithfully replicate the original. The rear closure section includes bumper detail, trunk works and vertical taillight cues. Aligning the front and rear sections are critical, but after a little paint and detailing, the Chevy comes together in magical fashion. In addition, the design team added a rear wing sectional to the project to bring the drag racing inspiration to life. The two-piece rear wing is trunk mounted with a lower support and upper wing with high-speed stabilising ribs for added performance. Included in each body set is a 1966 Chevy Nova II decal sheet, front-end grille closure piece, rear-end trunk/bumper closure, rear wing option including lower support and upper wing spoiler and the paint mask for all windows and rear wing, 3mm mounting hardware. As always, each body set is backed with JConcepts customer support and racing heritage. The Chevy II Nova measures a 13″/330mm wheelbase and the inside dimensions of the body are 10.75″/273mm wide front and 11″/297mm rear. The body is built for a 2WD SCT wheelbase length and narrowed to more resemble the original 1:1 counterpart.
