JConcepts orange rubber parts tray

JConcepts’ popular rubber parts tray is now also available in a bright orange colour. The tray provides a great platform for organisation with its detailed design, divided pockets and steady base weight. The tray is precision moulded in a rubber material which shows well in any pit area with the available blue, black and the new orange colour options. The grippy nature of the rubber allows the parts to stay rooted where they are placed. The tray has six, built-in positions to place a differential for builds or fluid fills and can accommodate 1/10th and 1/8th sized assemblies. The iconic Dirt-Web tread pattern is raised into the surface of the largest cubicle and JConcepts.net logos blaze the outer perimeter to show brand loyalty and authenticity.

JConcepts YZ-4 SF chassis protective sheet

JConcepts have introduced a chassis protective sheet for the popular Yokomo YZ-4 SF 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. The sticker is made of durable material and comes pre-cut, fitting the chassis bottom like a glove. Using the protective sheet will reduce wear and tear when running on highly abrasive surface while making for a slick surface to decrease friction between chassis and dirt surfaces. Each set includes two decals and additional front and rear skids that can be replaced once worn.

JConcepts EB410 chassis protective sheet

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy is a pre-cut chassis protective sheet that rocks JC’s Striker graphics. The chassis skin was developed to protect the chassis bottom from becoming excessively scratched or damaged when running on abrasive surfaces while providing a slick surface to decrease friction between the chassis and dirt surfaces. The pre-cut decal sports striking graphics and it comes in a convenient 2-piece pack with additional rear skid decals that can be replaced once worn.

JConcepts EB410 Fin titanium turnbuckle set

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy is the Fin titanium turnbuckle set. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the “finned” cuts that rotate about the centre. The Fin turnbuckles are lightweight and the original design adds some bling to the car. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left and right hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation.

JConcepts EB410 carbon fibre upper deck

JConcepts adds to the list of performance parts for the EB410 with a carbon fibre upper deck. The new upper deck offsets the position of the fan mount which allows several benefits. The first is the ability to use the JConcepts F2 body as the new carbon fibre part shifts the fan over to clear the low-profile cab of the body. The secondary benefit realised after testing the new upper deck is the ability to use a taller fan. This is a benefit not exclusive to the JConcepts body but to all low-roof body shell types because taller fans are typically more powerful and move more air. Another positive to the JConcepts carbon fibre upper deck is the slight position change of the fan allows some lower power fans to work better without the force of the motor magnets affecting the fan, bearings or rotation.

JConcepts Stalkers 1/8th buggy tyre

Coming from JConcepts is their new Stalkers 1/8th buggy the for rough and dry surfaces. The tread was developed for surfaces which mature over time, get rough, dry and with extreme scaling to the surface. The Reflex tyre, designed by Jason Ruona in early 2014, has been a success and the Stalker is a chip off the old block. The design team checked over the carcass profile, height and width to assure the best balance of weight and drivability. The Stalkers began with an enlarged square pin which has slight angle on each side. The angle creates some separation at the top which gives some bite in wet conditions providing some versatility to the design. As the pins meet the base of the tyre, the spacing tightens considerably giving a stable footing for the Stalkers. The stacked row configuration and simple connected pins offer massive forward acceleration. The aligned rows allow some surface drift making the tires forgiving in sand and bumpy track sections. The outside pin has been clipped to help drive-ability and ease the initial turn-in drivers often have concern for. Using softer compounds such as blue and green, the tyre has stability and flexibility for fast qualifying. The pin real-estate provides a lot of cushion for extended main events and when paired with long-wear compounds such as R2, O2 and Y2, the race pace can be pushed out to 45 to 60 minutes with ease. The tyres include the Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts and they come in re-sealable, zip-top packaging.

JConcepts Kosmos 1/8th buggy tyre

JConcepts have introduced the Kosmos 1/8th buggy tyre for dry, rutted and dusty Euro-style tracks. Developed with input of IFMAR World Champion, David Ronnefalk the JC design team took to a rectangular based pin which has the forward bite muscle to boost a 1/8th buggy. The staggered rows create a unique zig/zag affect at certain views giving it a 3D mind puzzle affect. In fact, the design is four rows deep of off-set and staggered sections when compared to some traditional tyres which rely on two. The tread also has connected several sections of pins with a V-feature to strengthen the base to make super soft compounds manageable even in high-speed conditions. The outer rows of pins have been clipped and held back for maximum cornering consistency on bumpy and chunky conditions. The inside of the carcass boasts the standard three radial ribs that help minimise tyre expansion under hard acceleration and cushions hard impacts. The tyre includes the Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts and it comes in a variety of compounds including blue, green, black, R2, O2 and Y2.
