Tailor-made to fit Team Associated’s rear motor B5 buggy is the new Finnisher bodyshell from JConcepts. Sporting the proven Finnisher design touches such as a forward-biased cabin with a highly angles windscreen, a stepped rear section and several airflow-improving features, the body instantly gives the B5 a different look. Included are two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance rear wings, window masks and a decal sheet.

JConcepts introduce the Finnisher bodyshell specially designed for the TLR 22 2.0 2WD buggy in mid motor configuration. Development with the help of Ryan Maifield, the Finnisher for the 22 is a completely tightened design, slimming the overall look of the vehicle. The body sports a smoother high-speed transition with increased flow past the side-pods that lends itself perfect to high-speed circuits. A single angle starting near the steering assembly ending at the widest point in the middle of the chassis adds driving consistency and improved “at-speed” handling. As track conditions have advanced through additives, treatments and maintenance, the ultimate aero package flows through the turns, produces traction and jumps with consistency. Included with the body come two 6.5″ wide Hi-Clearance wings.

New from JConcepts come the 60mm Dirt-Tech 1/10th off-road tyre inserts. Gray in color, the inserts are designed in conjunction with tyre insert guru, Brian “Dirt” Kinwald to bring the ultimate touch and feel while providing utmost durability. The rear and 4WD front insert has alternating shallow and deep cuts on the outside which touch off against the tyre’s inner carcass providing a cushy response and feel while the 2WD front insert has 3 relatively deep cuts spaced across the width giving a subtle feel to front tyres for precise steering control. The inside has horizontal channels cut in a 360 pattern to soak up the large impacts and help create forward bite and increase acceleration. The newly developed material providing racers a durable option capable of being used in medium to extremely high-traction conditions.

JConcepts introduce the Smoothies 1/10th buggy slick tyres. In some conditions in off-road racing slick tyres are the fastest way around the track. In damp weather, indoor clay surfaces become so tacky that the lower the tread or to the point of zero tread is an advantage. For years drivers have sanded, ground and hand sculpted tires in search of that elusive slick carcass for racing. Released as a 60mm bead mounting diameter, the JConcepts Smoothies mount straight to the latest generation wheels for that all important reactive feel. The carefully profiled tyre carcass rolls through the turns with efficiency while the maximum smooth surface area grips the surface. The tyres include Dirt-Tech 60mm inserts and they are available as 2WD front end 2WD/4WD rear tyre in Gold compound.

New from JConcepts comes a chassis protective film set for Team Associated’s RC10 vintage buggy. For years, drivers have hand-cut and custom fit their chassis with a clear material to protect the new chassis look and also providing a smooth or slick surface to decrease friction between chassis and dirt surfaces. JConcepts is now offering a pre-cut and graphically pleasing chassis protective sheet for the iconic RC10 chassis layout. The large footprint covers the complete chassis, nose-piece and extends up the rear of the chassis wrapping around the screws for the most coverage possible. With two pieces included per package, the durable and low-resistance material fits each chassis layout like a glove and adds protection and style in one easy package.

The latest addition to JConcepts Silencer line of bodyshells is a variant for Hot Bodies’ D413 4WD buggy. Using the distinctive Silencer design with a forward-biased cab, a dual channeling rear escape and a cockpit shark fin the JC body highly differs from the D413’s kit body to make for a totally different appearance. As usual the body comes clear, including window masks, a decal sheet and two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance rear wings.

Made for the Centro CT4.2 conversion kit is the JConcepts 4mm carbon fibre rear shock tower that has all the necessary adjustments including the standard outer (CT4.2) camber link positions and the newly added inboard camber link holes to accommodate a narrow pivot rear suspension. The shock tower has the JConcepts touch, including a strong design and genuine carbon fibre material. The strength is added where appropriate and to allow big bore shock and transmission clearance where necessary. The tower requires the use of the JConcepts #2320 rear bulkhead.

Coming from JConcepts and made for the TLR 22 buggy is the titanium front axle kit. A critical point of the conversion revolves around the front axle and surrounding geometry, with JConcepts having conveniently built the front axle and hex into a single piece allowing the use of a traditional 4mm lock-nut instead of the stock screw type design. A low-profile, aluminium 4mm locknut has been included which features an inner serrated surface which grips the wheel when tightened for locking security. The titanium material lowers the weight and increases the bling factor with the axle being easily installed on the 22 buggy line of vehicles including the TLR 22 2.0.
