JConcepts C4.2 narrow rear suspension mounts

JConcepts has dropped an additional option for C4.2 owners with the release of the narrow rear pivot suspension kit. The C4.2 comes stock with a slightly wider rear suspension pivot geometry which allows the vehicle to react appropriately in extremely high-grip conditions. However, when the traction is lower, additional swing is needed in the rear-end and justifies the narrow rear pivot suspension. By decreasing the size of the camber link, inner pivot virtual rectangle, the buggy transitions left to right quicker, applying force against the rear tires giving that moment of forgiveness. Drivers feel more confident as traction breaks allowing them to power down slightly quicker transitioning into a forward moment. This setup is especially good in medium to high traction conditions which drivers see on outdoor and indoor tracks throughout the year. The narrow pivot mounts must be used in conjunction with the #2323 C4.2 rear suspension kit to take full advantage of the rear suspension geometry. All parts, such as the front and rear plates and the pivot bushings are also available separately.

JConcepts 3Ds stadium truck tyres

JConcepts introduce the 3Ds tyre for 1/10th stadium truck. Debuted at the IFMAR World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand, for the 1/8th buggy class, the 3Ds’ are developed to be the ultimate slick-groove tyre and are a first to combine the high-stability design of a black groove bar tyre into an individually flexible pattern of finely spaced Double Dee lugs in one package. 3Ds excel on indoor and outdoor hard packed surfaces with either dry or wet conditions and they come in a variety of compounds including blue (soft), green (super soft) and black (mega soft).

JConcepts MP9 TK13 Silencer body shell

JConcepts have released their popular Silencer body shell for the Kyosho MP9 TK13 buggy. Designed for the use on high-speed tracks it features a narrowed, Finnisher stance cockpit that allows for smoother high-speed transition and increased flow in and out of the body for electrical air-flow. A deep recess behind the cab features dual channeling out the rear providing air escape along with rear-end stability. The side-pods have a clipped rear-end, narrowing the rear by angling just in front of the rear tyres. The extended runner features on the rear-end of the body enhance the force placed on the rear pods during high-speed acceleration. The main pods are heavily chamfered with a more heat-shrink design over the speed control and motor areas. The end result has the body looking extremely low-profile with heavy JConcepts edginess and appeal and it is capped off with a cockpit “shark fin” for more high-speed tracking stability and increased roof stiffness.

JConcepts Splitters buggy rear tyres

JConcepts introduce the Splitters 1/10th buggy rear tyres for loose and slick track conditions. The split-bar and alternating horizontal and vertical positioning of the tread fills the void for both forward and side-bite. The tyre features a micro-pin design which places the individually spaced pins in opposing directions placing footing in each direction. The tread sits on a proven Bar Code tyre carcass giving the tyre a low-profile, wide-body appearance allowing clipped tread to extend all the way to the outer edges. The tyre comes in JConcept’s blue, green and black compound including a firm And-1 foam insert.

JR Mitch re-signs for JConcepts

Florida racing veteran and TLR driver JR Mitch has agreed to a new contract with JConcepts. The current Region 4 Champion in the 2wd modified class has been on the JConcepts racing team since 2008 and has maintained a winning record on the regional and national scene throughout. JR’s versatility allows him to be a threat in 7 different classes of off-road racing where on any given day he can dominate the competition. JR will continue to use all the JConcepts, bodies, tires, wheels and accessories on his TLR line of vehicles as he chases victory at events throughout Florida and national events across the United States. JR had this to say:

JConcepts RC10 diamond wing tubes

Similar to the aluminium nose brace tubes for the RC10 Classic released some days ago, JConcepts now have diamond wing tubes for the same car. Available in black and silver color schemes, the diamond tubes in black jump out with a pattern of black hex flats matching a gold or black chassis combination. The tubes are sized to slide into the bulkhead and press into position similar to the stock components.

JConcepts RC10 diamond nose brace tubes

JConcepts have produced custom aluminium nose brace tubes for the RC10 Classic with a custom machined hex, creating a mind busting look with the diamond pattern. Available in both black and silver color schemes, the diamond tubes in black jump out with a pattern of black hex flats matching a gold or black chassis combination. The tubes in silver raise the glamour level in the chassis and can be matched to any other anodized chassis color. 4-40 threaded holes bolt up to the RC10 with ease and are direct replacements for the stock components.
