JConcepts green compound Bar Codes

JConcepts have announced that their 4wd front and racing truck front & rear Bar Codes are now available in green compound. Like the name suggests the alternating bar design combined with the addition of the Y side bars provide uncompromising support for blue and black groove conditions. Bar Codes in new condition excel on hard surfaces that have taken rubber with either dry or wet grooved conditions. Worn Bar Codes excel on indoor or outdoor clay tracks where a minimal dust groove has formed.

JConcepts Scalpel speed-run body

JConcepts introduces the Scalpel speed-run body and front bumper conversion to convert the Slash 4×4 into an insane speed-run machine. Looking straight into the headlights you can tell right away something is different about the Scalpel. A menacing look from the front-end highlighted by a dramatic chin-spoiler, the front-end is built for speed and direction. Large fenders allow plenty of clearance for the 2.8” G-Locs tires and the extremely low roof-line cuts like a knife. A shallow bed area gives the Scalpel a truck-like appearance while maintaining that all inclusive speed-line structure. Finishing off the body is clean and smooth with the inclusion of grill, headlight, taillight and miscellaneous logos that make the Scalpel look the part.

JConcepts Choppers 1/10th SCT tires

Inspired from some of the most successful JConcepts Racing Tires, these new Choppers have the look, fit and finish of a hard-core racing tire on steroids. Whether you are an experienced racer or beginning driver, the Choppers in blue compound are designed to tear up surfaces ranging from grass and gravel to dirt and asphalt. The tall and burly square lug design of the Choppers provides a deep tread depth for heavy footing even in the toughest conditions. The recessed lugs give a multitude of fresh edges to maintain consistent traction during the initial phase of tread life. The tread alignment and spacing provides massive forward bite acting as a paddle in loose dirt or sandy bashing environments. The outer sidewalls include heavy JConcepts X-Tread support ribs to aid traction in tight conditions or while against sharp or angled objects. The inner side-walls have built-in ribbing for added tire to insert support increasing cornering consistency.

JConcepts Bro Codes 1/10th buggy rear tires

Having featured the Bro Codes tire earlier in the week, JConcepts have today  released the new tire. At first glance, Bros can be easily mistaken for the popular Bar Code but the details reveal a major difference. Introducing the first tire born as a Broken-in tread geared toward the finely tuned racer. Broken-in lugs on the leading edge of the entire tread form a finely knit pattern of newly formed low-profile features. On prepared, wet clay surfaces there is a tremendous advantage to starting off on the right tire, tread height, wear and compound. Like the name suggests the Bro (Broken-in) alternating bar design combined with the addition of the Y side bars provide uncompromised support for many conditions. Available in soft (blue), super soft (green) and clay indoor soft (gold).
