LMR have introduced their new Slider carbon fibre “twister type” ride height gauge tool. Running lower ride heights with 1/10th scale buggies and trying to slide a ride height gauge underneath and backwards and forwards can often cause issues when fingers get in the way, bumping into the car while trying to set the ride height. The carbon fibre slider increases precision and makes checking ride height far easier as it takes a twister-type ride height gauge that can easily be slid under the chassis plate while checking and adjusting front and rear ride height.

LMR, the brand of UK frontrunner Lee Martin, has released a teaser image of their forthcoming off-road bodyshell. The way the photo is taken makes the scale hard to guess as it could be easer a somewhat bulky 1/10th scale or a slim 1/8th scale shell. We bring you more information on the subject as soon as they become available.
LMR have introduced their all-new 27 wing for the use with 1/10th off-road buggies. Designed with high-traction racing in mind the wing weighs in at only 17 gram while its low-profile design significantly lowers the car’s centre of gravity. For lower grip racing conditions the wing has a recess where an optional 1mm carbon fibre plate can sit and act as a stiffener, making this wing produce the maximum amount of downforce and still weighing less than 20 grams in the process. The pre-drilled plate, currently only available for Yokomo buggies, has three hole placements so the wing can be moved forward or back depending on the level of traction required.
Coming from LMR, the brand of Yokomo Factory driver and UK front runner Lee Martin, is a 2-piece central LiPo mount for the Yokomo YZ-4 1/10th 4WD buggy. Cut from carbon fibre the mount makes for a centralised battery position which creates a more nimble handling while allowing for higher corner speeds at the same time. The mount, as used by the Factory team, becomes available very soon.
Tonisport have introduced the MR33/LMR Upgrade upper deck for the Yokomo YZ-4 4WD buggy. Developed in cooperation with Yokomo top drivers the top deck is cut from 2.25mm carbon fibre and it not only offers improved looks but it also allows for more overall chassis flex thanks to machined cut-outs that make the top deck a little softer than the standard solid one.
New from LMR comes a stainless steel battery spacer weight for Yokomo’s YZ-2 2WD mid motor buggy. The weight comes in at 75g and it will improve grip and stability. Running the weight behind the LiPo gives more traction and the buggy feels like it is run with a big LiPo and it can also be used up front if necessary.
