LRP Vector X12 Aluminium tuning parts

LRP have released all new Vector X12 aluminium tuning parts to improve the performance and look of your brushless motor. Due to their special design the motor has better heat-dissipation and ventilation, resulting in a motor that runs a lot cooler. A motor that runs with lower temperature improves consistency and efficiency, making sure you will have maximum power also during the last lap. The new cool front housing with improved ventilation holes increases the airflow for a lower temperature, as well as lowering the overall weight of your brushless motor. The new black aluminium end cover with cooling fins, improves the heat dissipation significantly compared to the standard plastic endc over. Featured with laser engraved XTEC logo and A, B, C speedo cable connection, giving your motor a stylish look.

Freddy Sudhoff joins LRP team

Front running European electric and gas racer Freddy Sudhoff has joined the LRP team. The current 1/10th scale 200mm European B Champion made his debut for the German company at last weeks European EP Touring car Championships in Luxembourg. Freddy will use the complete LRP product line in his Xray chassis including speed controls, motors, batteries, chargers, dischargers, power supply and accessories. His next race will be the German Championships where he will be joined by the current team of Ronald Völker, Steven Weiß and Dirk Wischnewski.

LRP Vector8 & SPX8 Brushless system

More news from LRP who have released their new 1/8 Brushless System. The new Vector8 brushless modified motor is based on the IFMAR World Championship winning XTEC X12 brushless modified technology. This motor is specifically tailored for 1/8 Off Road racing with its longer teardown with special cooling fins, longer stack, magnet and shaft for higher torque and maximum performance. To control that motor, LRP release the new SPX8 Competition brushless speedo which is based on one of the most successful competition speed controllers, the Sphere Competition TC-Spec. It now features a special 1/8 software and has especially been optimised for the use with 2S-4S LiPo batteries. The result is a high-end speed control that will enthuse the 1/8 electric R/C car scene.

Shin Adachi turns Blue

LRP have announced the signing of top international RC driver Shin Adachi to their team. The Kyosho/Team Orion driver will now use LRP speedos and will bring years of top international racing experience to LRPs international racing team. Adachi has been a multiple worlds and international finalist for the last 10 years and continues to be a hot contender in whatever class he races and his professional approach both on and off the track as well as his ability to bring a smile on peoples faces makes Adachi the perfect fit for LRP. Shin will make his debut and use the new LRP SXX TC spec and LRP SXX Competition speed controllers at the upcoming JMRCA Nationals in 2wd, 4wd, Truck and Touring for 2009.

LRP LiPo Battery Parallel balancer

LRP have released their new LiPo battery parallel balancer, seen last week at the European Championships in Austria. Especially developed for the use of LiPo and LiFe batteries and automatically recognises the cell condition of all 2-5 cell batteries. If the condition of the cells is not equal, an automatic equalizing of the cells starts and balances the cells during charging to ensure all cells are 100% equal. The micro-controller-regulation guarantees a particularly high precision. The balancer is not as positioned between the charger and the battery as usual, but is connected in parallel and therefore there is no influence on the charger and its functions.

LRP BEC, Engine Monoblock & Starter box

Three releases that we skipped over earlier in the week from LRP are a new heavy duty BEC, one-piece aluminium engine mount and new competition starter box. The BEC is a new extremely strong voltage regulator for use with LiPo receiver batteries in nitro models and works perfectly with heavy cars and powerful servos, such as those found in 1/5th – 1/8th scale models. The new one-piece blue anodized aluminium motor mount for the S8-BX and S8-TX stiffens up the chassis around the engine and of course enables a quick engine removal and remounting. Finally, similar to the one released by Nosram on Friday, LRP have also released their new Spec.2 compact and lightweight starter box that has a new higher positioned starter wheel for more precise car positioning and faster starts.

LRP Hyper & Power stick packs

Also new from LRP is their updated line of budget battery packs. These new products represent the next generation of powerful NiMh stick packs featuring higher capacity, outstanding power delivery, lower internal resistance and a completely new design. All battery packs are supplied pre-assembled and ready-to-use, including connectors, and are made using only single-cell shrink wrapped cells by LRP. Each cell has passed quality control and durability tests before its used.

Shown for the first time back in the beginning of 2008, LRP have finally released the NEXXT 4X Sensorless System. This super lightweight sensorless brushless and brushed speedo uses revolutionary software to provides sensored drivability even without hall sensors. Providing 8 power profiles for finest adjustments to all classes and motors this waterproof speedo sets new benchmarks in drivability and reliability. This ultra small speed controller can either be used in 1/18 scale cars without motor limit or even in 1/10 scale cars down to 7,5T.
