Mikimodel MS1.0 -2mm Front Shock Absorber Mount

Continuing their release of option parts for the Yokomo MS1.0 Electric Touring Car, Mikimodel has released this Front Shock Absorber Mount that lowers the front tower by 2 mm.  They can be used safely with the standard shock absorbers if low droop values ​​are used or with the shorter optional shocks from Yokomo.  In addition, the kit includes two small carbon fibre pieces to also lower the rear shock tower and absorbers by 2 mm.

Mikimodel MS1.0 ‘Stock Spec’ Chassis

Italian Yokomo distributor Mikimodel has released this brand new ‘Stock Spec Chassis’ for the Yokomo MS1.0 Electric Touring Car.  Specifically developed for the Stock category, in creating the new chassis they have stiffened the chassis a lot, working a lot on the openings of the rear differential.  They have also reduced the motor cutout.  Mikimodel say they have worked a lot on the research of a bidirectional carbon that increases traction as much as possible while maintaining stability and ease of driving.

Mikimodel MS1.0 ‘ZZ’ Front Stiffener

Another new Yokomo specific release from Italian Yokomo distributor Mikimodel comes this ‘ZZ’ front stiffener for the MS1.0 Electric Touring Car.  Also compatible with the previous BD12/BD11/BD10 models, this particular carbon fibre stiffener allows the model to increase driveability when cornering, making steering smoother and more progressive.

Mikimodel MS1 Body Stopper V3

Italian Yokomo distributor Mikimodel has released this Body Stopper V3 for the MS1 1:10 Electric Touring Car.  Also compatible with the previous BD12/BD11/BD10 kits, this 3rd version is adjustable with an upper screw so that the front part of the body does not crush due to the aerodynamic load, giving great front stability to the model.

Mikimodel MS1.0 1.5mm Steel Chassis

Another new Yokomo specific release from Italy’s Mikimodel is their new 1.5mm steel chassis for the MS1.0 Electric Touring and which is compatibility with previous models such as the BD12/BD11/BD10.  The steel chassis is intended for use on asphalt but can also be used in indoor conditions on carpet.  During testing they worked hard to find the right weight and above all the correct flex of the chassis which was not easy finding the right compromise to unload the chassis and work on the torsion points.  Only after many tests did they also managed to find the right material and the right treatment for the chassis.  Using the steel chassis, Mikimodel say they have found an extremely balanced combination, giving the possibility of extremely easy driving in different conditions.

Philippine Masters ’25 track revealed

The organisers of the Philippine Masters has revealed the Circulo Verde Race Track which will host Asia’s most high profile 1:8 Offroad event of the year from April 30-May 4.  The 13th running of the Philippine Masters, track designer and accomplished offroad racer Edward Sio has overseen the work which includes the track being newly re-surfaced and oiled.  Tweaking the layout in some sections and they have also added some additional jumps for more actions on this always popular track.  Last year the Manila event was once again won by World Champion Davide Ongaro in a final that saw the legendary Atsushi Hara lead for almost half the final.  With the Philippines famed as a holiday destination, the event has a truly unique vibe living up to the nations tourism tagline ‘It’s More Fun in the Philippines’.  Holding the same status as the TITC in Thailand does among onroad racers, once again Philippine Masters ’25 will form part of Scotty Ernst’s Asian Buggy Championships as the second stop of four races that make up the championship’s third season.

Mikimodel MS1.0 ‘Aereo Downforce’ Bumper

Another new Yokomo specific release from Italian Yokomo distributor Mikimodel is this Aereo Downforce Bumper for the MS1.0 that is also compatible with the BD12, BD11, BD10 and BD9 1:10 Electric Touring Cars from the Japanese manufacturer.  The new bumper produces excellent front aerodynamics helping to achieve greater traction and steering.  The particular shape and internal structure also allows for great cushioning in the event of a frontal impact, absorbing the impact and protecting your model.

Mikimodel MS1.0 ‘Special Parts’ Suspension Arm System

New from Italy’s Mikimodel and created under its ‘Special Parts’ line is this new suspension arm system for the Yokomo MS1.0 1:10 Electric Touring Car.  They are entirely carbon arms, with molded insert and uniball for camber adjustment with a fixed caster of 4th degree anterior and 2nd degree posterior.  The research of the design but above all the research of the materials itself was extremely complex with it taking a long time arrive at the final solution.  The arms make for much easier driving compared to the standard kit arms offering much more consistency and above all avoids anomalous behaviour due to the previous plastic which it was too soft.  They are sold as a kit and also separately. A tork wrench for fixing the carbon plastic is also supplied with the kit.
