MIP Mini-T 2.0 CVDs, slipper & topshaft/idler

The Losi Mini-T 2.0 is getting the MIP treatment as the US company releases a new range of upgrade parts for the 1/18th scale truck. First up is the MIP shiny CVD kit, made from high quality steel, they are built to last so you can make those crazy jumps and drive on those rough terrains with confidence knowing they will keep your car running. Next up is the race topshaft & idler gear set, designed to reduce the rotational mass of your car by 65% leading to quicker acceleration and better braking. Finally the slipper clutch kit includes high friction slipper pads for fine adjustment.

T-Works MIP hex wrench collar set

T-Works have introduced their new aluminium identification collar set for the popular MIP hex wrenches. The set includes four colour-coded collars with laser-etched size markings that slide over the tool tip of the hex wrenches and help to easily identify the hex’s sizes. Included with the set comes an Allen key and four grub screws for easy mounting of the collars.

RC Screwdriver MIP wrench holder & parts tray

RC Upgrade have introduced the new RC Screwdriver wrench holder and parts tray specially designed for the use with the popular MIP tools. The tool holder is usable with MIP’s hex and nuts drivers, the Speed Tip power tool tips as well as the 1/10th turnbuckle wrench and it is 3-D-printed to a high quality. The tools visible in the images after the break are not included.

MIP Enduro X-Duty centre drive kit

MIP have introduced their new X-Duty centre drive kit for the Element RC Enduro range of trail trucks. The set is a direct replacement for the standard kit parts, offering increased strength and a high amount of durability compared to the plastic kit drives. Included in the fully rebuildable set are hardened steel telescopic design centre driveshafts, couplers, shims and all needed hardware.

MIP SWorkz Bypass1 shock piston set

MIP have announced the release of their Bypass1 shock piston set for SWorkz’s 1/8th scale off-road buggies and trucks. Featuring colour-codes valves, the Bypass1 pistons allow to control and maximise the car’s performance based on which valves used. Thicker valves generate a slower rebound and thinner valves get quicker rebounds. Each set includes four pistons and a set of three different valves. The SWorkz-specific set features 16mm 6-hole pistons suitable for the S35 and S35-T vehicles and it comes including four pistons, three types of valves and mounting hardware.

LMR MIP T-wrench handle

Designed for the use with the popular MIP tools is the LMR T-wrench. The add-on handle allows to get some leverage on tough to shift nuts and bolts and it works with all 22mm MIP handles. The tool is 3-D-printed from tough material for durability.

MIP announce the release of more Bypass1 piston sets

MIP has completed its line of 1/8th scale Bypass1 off-road pistons and now include sets for Agama, JQRacing, SWorkz, Tekno and Xray. Featuring colour-codes valves, the Bypass1 pistons combined together with these valves allow to control and maximise the car’s performance based on which valves used. Thicker valves generate a slower rebound and thinner valves get quicker rebounds. Each set includes four pistons and a set of three different valves. The Agama set includes 6+2 pistons, the JQRacing specific sets consists of 6+6 hole pistons, the SWorkz kit includes 6-hole pistons, the Tekno set is a 6+6 hole variant and the Xray compatible set also includes 6+6 pistons. The set will become available by end of July.

MIP TRX Fiesta ST Rally X-Duty front CVD kit

Coming from MIP is the X-Duty front CVD kit for the popular Traxxas Fiesta ST Rally car. Featuring a strong splined X-Duty steel construction, the driveshaft kit gives extra strength for those that are into drag racing and thanks to being fully rebuildable, owners can easily replace components that have reached their end life. The parts are made of black oxide coated steel to protect the components from premature rust while the strong construction prevents ripped and twisted drivetrains.
