T-Works MTC2 graphite split type upper deck

More new Mugen MTC2 options, this time T-Works have created this graphite split type upper deck. Used in place of the standard single piece carbon top deck it changes the flex characteristics of the car which can be further fine tuned using the included fasteners at the bulkhead and or centre line mounting points.

Mugen Seiki MBX8/8T emulsion damper caps

Mugen Seiki emulsion damper caps allow you to use one cap for all conditions and shock building styles with Mugen Seiki’s 16mm shocks. With the Emulsion Damper Caps you have the option to run the stock bladders or run emulsion style. The set includes two emulsion damper caps, two precut bladders, two damper cap bushings, two bleeder screws and two aluminium washers. The emulsion damper caps improve your MBX8/8T landing off large jumps and will have a more precise feeling when changing directions. The emulsion damper caps excel on higher speed track conditions.

RC Maker MTC2 range of option parts

RC Maker have announce their brand new collection of option parts for the car of the moment, the Mugen MTC2. Creating some fifteen new option parts they feel they have managed to improve upon the original part with each new design, and that their new range offers Mugen drivers a good selection of parts that will improve the durability, performance or aesthetics of their MTC2. The new items starts with the 1.6mm and 2.0mm CentraFlex carbon top deck, SlimFlex 1.6mm and 2.0mm carbon twin top deck sets both standard and slim battery mount sets, front bumper plate and carbon front and rear steering arms. There is also a brass centre stiffener weight, GeoCarbon medium flex bulkhead/top deck brace, GeoCarbon rear body mount plate, carbon ‘Quick Adjust’ rear body mount spacers, a full set of premium ceramic/ABEC7 bearing set and finally a carbon tweak stick.

Deadfly MTC2 carbon bumper plate

Deadfly have produced this carbon bumper plate for the Mugen MTC2 touring car. A direct replacement for the kit part, it adds more rigidity in key areas whilst keeping the overall weight the same as the original. Manufactured from 2mm high quality carbon fibre it weighs only 2.6 grams.

T-Works MTC2 wheel hub axle set

T-Works have produced this wheel hub axle set for the Mugen MTC2. Mounted over the kit standard wheel axle, the bearings used in the wheel hub have a larger internal diameter to accept the hub axles. The system improves traction and rotational efficiency by transferring the loads from the wheel directly to the bearings. The set includes a pair of hub axles, as well as 6x10x3mm bearings, spacers, shims and pins.

Deadfly MTC2 brass & carbon options

From Deadfly come a number of new parts for the Mugen MTC2, starting with this 17g weight plate designed to fit perfectly behind the servo. Providing the perfect platform for you to mount your receiver while increasing the weight on the motor side of the chassis, it helps keep the centre of gravity as low as possible. Next up is a simple front bulkhead brace which has been machined from 2mm carbon fibre and comes supplied with the relevant hardware.

OfficinaRC MTC2 aluminium bearing housings

More new items for the Mugen MTC2 from OfficinaRC with the release of these aluminium bearing housings. Recommended for all classes for improved performance, the hubs are stronger, more reliable and with less wear and directly replace the standard composite ones included in the kit. Made in Italy they reduce friction and make the car freer with greater transmission efficiency. Sold as a pair.

T-Works MTC2 lower pivot insert & turnbuckle tools

T-Works have introduced these two new tools specific to the Mugen MTC2. The first of which is a lower arm pivot insert nut driver with a tip that matches the very specific nut. Next up is a 2 sided turnbuckle ball-end mounting tool which allows you to more easily to attach the two different types of plastic ball ends to the turnbuckles. Both tools have been made from hard coated 7075-T6 aluminium and finished in black.
