For the Mugen MBX8 and MBX8T, T-Works have produced these pairs of steel centre CVDs. Made from a high-quality steel, both the shaft and coupling feature a black surface coating for wear resistance. The rear centre CVD shaft is 110mm long on the buggy and 156.5mm long on the truggy, with the front centre shaft coming in a 78.5mm for buggy and 82.5mm for truggy meaning they also fit the older specification MBX7/7T as well.
Mugen have introduced a new colour for their popular pit bag with this new blue colour joining the previously available black version. Made of a durable heavy duty material, they feature a padded handle for easy carrying and multiple pockets and compartments to store tools, spares and accessories such as a starter box, fuel bottles, fuel guns and many more. The bag can be disassembled for travelling.

Having dropped the bombshell on Wednesday that he was leaving Team Yokomo, Ronald Völker has just been confirmed as a Mugen Seiki driver. The former World, European, ETS & Reedy Race Champion will now head Mugen’s EP onroad race team, a move that shows very clearly the ambitions of the Japanese company within this category. Having only entered the ultra competitive touring car class for the first time back in 2017, they have always had a competitive platform but up until now were lacking a tier-1 driver, which they now have with Ronald. Völker, who is currently leading the ETS standings after 3 rounds, will have to adapt quickly to the all new MTC2 if he is to maintain that lead with the 4th round of the series taking place in less than 2 weeks. MSE Performance Parts Germany have released some new carbon options for the Mugen MBX8 buggy. First up this extended battery box for easy installation of your batteries without the cable chaos. Recommended for use with the Mugen Seiki rubber grommet for better cable routing and sealing, the top carbon plate gives it that factory look and comes with an engraved MSE logo. Also for the MBX8 are a pair of 2mm thick carbon lower arm plates for both the front and the rear. These torsion-resistant carbon plates work best in very hot weather conditions and high grip surfaces or carpet tracks.

Mugen Seiki have introduced the follow up to the MTC1, the company’s first entry into the EP touring car arena, the aptly named MTC2. The all new design has a number of new innovations including extra long carbon lower arms with new pivot inserts to eliminate slop and a low centre of gravity shock mounting position mounted using lightweight lower shock and anti-roll bar mount with adjustable ARB links. Following the current touring car trend, the MTC2 also features a mid motor configuration which makes it more stable and have a more balanced feeling on the track, while a new rear differential has smoother diff action and more consistent handling.

T-Works have introduced their new carbon fibre wing buttons for the most popular 1/8 scale off-road kits. The 1-piece wing button is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and it is available in six different specifications to cover Kyosho and Mugen, Team Associated, HB Racing, Agama, Tekno RC, and SWorkz kits. Using them will make for easier wing mounting, improved looks and better wing support, especially when running lightweight polycarbonate wings. The buttons come including gold-coloured mounting hardware.
Made for some the most popular 1/8th scale off-road kits are T-Works’ new titanium lower shock pin sets. Made of high-quality 64-grade titanium the pins offer a low weight, exceptional durability as well as left and right hand threads, ensuring they wouldn’t come loose unintentionally during a run. Using the pins has been made easy with the inclusion of outer 5.5mm hex and inner 2.0mm hex portions and the pins are available as 4-piece sets for the HB Racing D8xx series, the Kyosho MP10 and MP9 based kits, the Mugen MBX8 and MBX7 series as well as the Team Associated RC8B3.2 and B3.1 kits.

T-Works have announced the release of their new 93.5mm CV-style driveshaft set for the Mugen MBX8 buggy. The driveshafts are made of high-quality steel material and they sport a black surface coating for wear and corrosion protection. The driveshafts are usable on the front and rear and beside the MBX8 they also fit the older MBX7 models.
