Flashpoint RC 2-in-1 starter box mounts

New from Flashpoint RC for the Mugen Seiki starter box is this 2-in-1 starter box mount for the MBX8 and MBX8T. Mount the set directly to your starter box, also a direct fit for the Protek starter box, and the system allows the user to easily switch between starting both types of car simply by turning the quick adjust rear mounts 180 degrees. Made from high quality aluminium, the mounts remove the need to have separate boxes for each car, saving money and space in your pit bag. Comes supplied with all the hardware needed to mount them.

Xtreme Racing MBX8 wear guard

Coming from Xtreme Racing and made for the Mugen MBX8 buggy is a wear guard machined from 3mm T6 aluminium. The skid plate helps to prevent the rear of the chassis from excessive wear and it comes black anodised for looks and greater surface protection. Xtreme Racing recommend to use 3mm longer fasteners for better support of the plate, chassis and gearbox.

Bezerk MBX8 carbon fibre shock towers

Available now from Bezerk are carbon fibre front and rear shock towers for the Mugen MBX8 1/8th scale buggies. The range includes a 5.0mm graphite front shock tower as well as standard and high wing rear variants – the latter offering additional mounting positions for the rear wing with the high wing position improving overall downforce and balance. The rear shock towers are available in 4.0mm and 5.0mm thick variants and all three match the standard kit suspension geometry.

MSE MRX6R lower aluminium shock mount

Mugen Seiki Europe have announced the release of an aluminium lower shock mount for the MRX6R on-road kit. Made of high-quality 7075 aluminium and coming black anodised for wear and looks, the part was developed to replace the standard carbon fibre item. In the event of a crash, the alloy will just deform instead of break, as the carbon fibre parts can on hard impacts, allowing the driver to still finish the race. The shock mount is made in Germany and it is available separately, fitting the left and right hand side of the car.

Schelle Duo carbon 1/10th & 1/8th wing buttons

Schelle Racing Innovations have announced the release of their new Duo carbon fibre wing buttons for 1/10th Team Associated and 1/8th Team Associated and Mugen kits. The 1/10th scale variant is machined from 2.5mm carbon and features flush countersunk mounting positions for the wing screws. It ensures a tighter and more secure wing mounting while also acting as a jig to pre-drip wings. The button fits B6.1, B74, B6 series, B64 or B64D and basically all recent Associated 10th scales. As for the larger brother, the Duo wing button for the Team Associated RC8B3.1 and Mugen MBX8 vehicles, the part is machined from 2.5mm carbon fibre for cool looks, a light weight and exceptional stability.

Avid 1/8th scale 1-piece carbon wing button

Coming from Avid is a 1-piece carbon fibre wing button for 1/8th scale off-road kits. The wing button is a nice alternative to the commonly used wing buttons and helps work as a template to mark the holes in new wings. Available models include the Team Associated RC8B3.1, HB Racing D819, Kyosho MP10, Mugen MBX8, Serpent SRX8, SWorkz S35-3, Tekno NB48.4, TLR 8ight-X, and Xray XB8‘19

RC Carbon Cavalieri 1/8 buggy carbon fibre front scoops

RC Carbon Cavalieri have announced the release of their carbon fibre front scoops for many of today’s 1/8th scale off-road buggies. Made from high-quality carbon fibre the scoops help to adjust the aerodynamic balance during high speeds and jumping with the parts offering increased stability over standard polycarbonate front wings. BF Materials MBX8 carbon fibre optionals

BF Materials have announced the release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Mugen MBX8 series of buggies. The range includes a rear carbon fibre shock tower as well as front and rear 1.5mm carbon fibre arm inserts. The tower offers multiple upper shock and camber link mounting points and it features chamfered edges for looks and greater durability. The arm inserts allow to adjust the arm stiffness and thus overall grip and traction with the inserts being best used in medium to high-bite conditions.
