Novak Pulse brushless racing ESC

Novak have introduced the Pulse brushless racing ESC with X-Drive. This pure, sensor-based brushless pro racing ESC is designed to accommodate the high-end demands of any and all heavy-duty 2S LiPo racing applications, from modified touring to open 4×4 SCT. The Pulse is a ground-up firmware re-design to a proven, race-winning hardware platform, for ultra-reliability. The Pulse features Novak’s new Super-Tuner interface for the fastest set-up changes with the simplest & most adjustable menu system to-date, Xtra-Timing that adds the maximum possible timing advance at full-throttle for unbelievable top speeds, and Novak’s X-Drive for ultimate performance. Also standard is the most robust built-in 5 Amp BEC on the market, and ultra-duty 12G power wire.

Novak Ballistic Spec high-RPM motor/stator

Novak is pleased to bring Spec racers a new weapon for their racing battlefield the Ballistic Spec High-RPM Brushless Motor (17.5T). The Ballistic High RPM motor features a higher Kv stator wound with Novak’s low-resistance red wire for faster speeds and vented end bells for cooler operation. This stator can be bought separately and can also be installed in any Ballistic 540 brushless motor.

Novak Vented Ballistic 550 brushless motor

To combat the high temps and demands of the modern 4×4 Short Course race day, Novak is introducing the Vented Ballistic 550 brushless 4.5T motor. This is the same motor that has been powering drivers to the top of short course podiums across the racing world, but with the added value and performance of Novak’s vented end bells. Billy Fischer joins Novak Factory Team

Novak Electronics have announced that Billy Fischer is newest member of the Novak Factory Team. Billy has made a name for himself as a fast driver, making podiums and A-Mains across the country for more than a few race seasons. Fischer’s first outing with Novak equipment was the 2012 Short Course Showdown Nationwide Tour at Competition Hobbies in Tucson, AZ where Billy TQ’d and won the coveted 4×4 SCT division using his Havoc Pro SC with X-Drive and Ballistic 550 4.5-turn Brushless Motor.

Novak Ballistic stators & power connector

Novak now offer three new wound stators for its Ballistic 540 series brushless motors. Available in 10.5-Turn, 13.5-Turn and 17.5-Turn these stators are hand-wound with Novak’s popular red-wire and are epoxy-dipped for higher temperature tolerances for the ultimate performance for top-level racing. Novak also released their Power Connector for heavy-duty applications. Made from high-quality copper, which is gold-plated for the best performance, this plug set is designed for maximum contact between the connector surfaces. The connector features a split-input power plug and heavy-duty receptacles which allows for a clean and tight plug connection for the ultimate power with little to no losses due to resistance and heating.

Novak GTB 2 X-Drive/Ballistic BL systems

Novak release two new brushless controller and motor combos based on the GTB 2 X-Drive and the company’s Ballistic competition BL motors. The GTB 2 X-Drive is a sensor-based controller for top-level non-timing racing, and sport a low-profile heat sink, Novak’s X-Drive firmware for improved throttle feel, smooth braking and cooler running temperatures as well as build-in low-voltage protection for LiPo and LiFe battery packs. The combo sets are available with a Ballistic 8.5T or 17.5T “blinky” class sensored brushless motor.

Novak Club sensored controller

Team Novak’s Club sensored speed controller is specially designed for the need of club and intermediate-level racers. Offering only a single throttle profile the small and lightweight ESC does not confuse with various setting options and allows for even competition. Based on the Edge 2S platform the controller offers 24 MOSFET design, a heavy-duty BEC, low-voltage and thermal protection. Available from end of March and also as set including a 17.5T or 25.5T VTA brushless motor.
