Orcan RS7-MH & RS3-MH on-road engines

Orcan introduce two new nitro on-road engines in the form of the .21 RS7-MH and the .12 RS3-MH. Starting with the 1/8th scale engine, the RS7-MH was specially developed for the use with 16 percent nitro fuel in order to create higher torque while offering better millage at the same time. Each engine comes hand-tuned to ensure the highest and most reliable performance level by thoroughly modifying the liner and piston, crankshaft and crankcase. The 7-port engine comes in a handy storage and transportation bag with zipper and Orcan logo.

Orcan Car-Condom, Motor & Multifunctional Bag

Orcan introduce three new products to make storage and transportation of cars, engines and spares more convenient. First up is the funnily named Car-Condom car transportation bag. Designed to capture any 1/10th nitro or electric touring car the bag fully encloses the vehicle to keep the trunk of your road car clean from dirt or fuel residue. A flexible material and a strong cord guarantee a tight fit. Next up is a special engine bag for .12 to .21 nitro engines. Made from high-quality cotton and coming with white Orcan logos the bag makes storage and transportation of your precious nitro engine easy. A tough cord securely seals the bag to prevent the engines from falling out. Last but not least comes the Orcan multifunctional bag, a medium-size offering for spare parts, tools and many more. An adjustable inner compartment and a net in the lid help to keep things tidy. Such as the other products this one sports the white Orcan logo.

Orcan OA1911 pipe for 2.11ccm on-road engines

Orcan’s new OA1911 pipe has been developed especially for mid-sized tracks and offers extremely high torque coupled with linear power delivery through the entire range in combination with low fuel consumption. The new OA1911 pipe comes with a short conical manifold and all mounting accessories and is the perfect addition to the OA1910Plus and OA1915 pipe family. It delivers a huge amount of torque for a linear performance, making it ideally suited to mid-sized race tracks. Orcan also have numerous optional manifolds which can be ordered separately like the OA1911M for superior acceleration, the OA1911C for lower fuel consumption and the OA1911S for more mid-range and high-end torque and a higher top speed.

Tobias Hepp renews with Orcan

Tobias Hepp renews with Orcan

Orcan extend the cooperation with German front-runner Tobias Hepp. With the GT7 and GT7-MH .21 on-road engine series has been introduced two years ago, these engines have been continuously developed to strong and successful power units. Tobias is integrated in this progress and was able to achieve good results in his first year with Orcan. He will use the engines as well as Orcan fuel and accessories in his upcoming campaign that will include races such as the EFRA GP in Lostallo, the Xray Challenge in Germany, the German 1/8th and 1/10th nationals and the EFRA Euros A in Halifax. This is what Tobias has to say about the deal:

I am very happy to continue the cooperation with the whole Orcan team. As a young driver I can benefit a lot from this teamwork. I am looking forward to the new season.

Alexander Hagberg re-signs with Team Orcan

Team Orcan have announced that following a successful first year of driving for their team and making the main final at the World Championships, Alexander Hagberg has decided to extend his deal with the German company. The Swedish Xray driver had this to say:

It has been a pleasure to work with Mr. Bertram Kessler of SMI-Motorsport. His experience and professionalism has helped a lot over the last year. I am confident that I can accomplish even better results in the near future. I will be running Orcan engines, mufflers, fuel and accessories.

Rico Kröber re-signs to Team Orcan

Rico Kröber re-signs to Team Orcan

Orcan have announced that their team driver Rico Kröber has re-signed for the upcoming season. He will use and develop the Orcan Nitro products especially the Orcan GT3-MH engine as well as the Orcan fuel. Rico will drive Orcan products at German national races, German Championship and the European Championship in Austria this season. He had this to say about the deal:

I am proud to be a member of the Orcan Team and I am looking confident into the future and to the next races because of the professional work with Bertram Kessler during the last years. We have developed a lot of new ideas which we will bring 2013 at the racetrack.

SMI Orcan GT3 engine kit

SMI Motorsport introduce the special edition Orcan GT3 engine kit. The .12 engine has won the recent 200mm European Championships in the hands of Manuel Huber giving Orcan its fourth championship since 2007. Designed with both low fuel consumption and highest overall performance in mind the engine is based around a Novarossi setup and refined by engine tuner Michael Heinrich according to Orcan’s Bertram Kessler specifications. The engine is available as high-end competition ‘C’ or high low end torque ‘S’ variant and comes with either the Orcan 1910 Plus or 1915 pipe, the new Orcan multifunctional bag and an Orcan hoody in the traditional orange colour and sizes from S to XXL.

Alexander Hagberg joins Orcan team

After working closely with Bertram Kessler in 2011, and team driver Dirk Wichnewski, Alexander Hagberg has decided to join the already strong Orcan team. Alex will run the brand’s engines, mufflers and fuel for all his nitro racing in 2012 and will be looking for strong performances at the European Championships in Cassino, Italy and at the World Championships in Bangkok, Thailand. For the 2012 season, the Xray factory driver will use the latest releases from Orcan including the OAGT3-S MH and OAGT3-C MH engines as well as the new muffler OA1910 Plus while for fuel he will use the reliable and race proven OF 2516 Plus.
