David Ehrbar signs with Arrowmax

Arrowmax have announced the signing of Serpent designer, David Ehrbar to their team. The German will be using the full line of Arrowmax tools, accessories and LiPo batteries and he will also be responsible for testing future Arrowmax products. David had the following to say:

The stylish and practical Arrowmax tools are well known within the industry. These tools are exceptional light, and use very tough tool tips. So they are perfect to keep the weight of the racing luggage low, and even more important they are perfect to work on the car. At the same time they are very stylish and using the whole Arrowmax line of tools makes your pit space look very exclusive. I consider it as a logical step to use the Arrowmax tools. But as a racer it was almost more important for me to make the step to the Arrowmax LiPos. Slightly less known in the market, these high quality LiPos with their high power and high discharge rate (up to 130C) will be a good help for me to fight for the top positions in the F1 class, and at the same time deliver the reliable and constant power for my racing and testing in the touring car modified class. I will work closely together with the factory to test and work on future products. I am proud to be a part of this ambitious team.

RC-Cox 5mm LiPo battery safety plugs

PPM RC Racing have introduced the new RC-Cox 5mm LiPo battery safety plugs. Made from a soft material the plugs were designed to cover the unused openings of through-type LiPo battery connector tubes, keeping them from becoming dirty and damaged while also avoiding putting the battery in the car the wrong way around which can result in short circuits during hectic plug in routines. The plugs are easy to remove yet strong enough to not fall off even when the going gets tough and they come in sets of ten, enough to outfit five 5mm connector battery packs.

Protoform RT-C lightweight rubber tyre oval body shell

Protoform’s latest oval racing lid is the RT-C lightweight rubber tyre body shell. The XFINITY Series continues to provide full scale stock car fans with close exciting racing in 2017. Protoform now presents an oval body inspired by the newest generation of these cars. The RT-C has a bit of a twist though, as it is configured to fit perfectly over the taller rubber and capped tyres. Rubber tyres on carpet oval cars have put driving skill and a new element of fun into the oval scene. The longer lasting rubber tyre format saves time and money as well, eliminating the tyre truing process. The RT-C offers a large rear spoiler to aid in tuning – for that perfect front to rear balance, while the left side of the body is bumped out for extra battery clearance. The RT-C is produced in high-quality .025″ polycarbonate and includes spoiler mounting hardware, protective film, window masks and a decal sheet. This body will also fit most popular 200mm sedan chassis.
